Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. Proverbs 16:3

Have you been struggling with taking that leap in trying something new or doing something different? Here are some steps you can take & simple but powerful prayers you can pray:

* Surrender: Give God control over your decisions and actions.
* Trust: Believe God's purpose will prevail over your own.
* Alignment: Ask for your heart and mind to align with God's purposes.
* Glory: Ask that your success brings glory to God, not just personal gain.
* Guidance: Seek the Holy Spirit's direction for your path.

Simple Commitment: "Heavenly Father, I commit all my works and activities to You today. Please work through me so Your plans for my life will succeed to Your praise and glory. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”

Prayer for Guidance: "Dear God, I commit all my plans into Your Hands. Show me which plans are not of You, and guide me in the direction of those You approve. I trust that operating in Your approval ensures success. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

Trusting God's Will: "Lord, I surrender my plans to Your will, trusting You to establish them for Your glory. Help me rest secure in Your wisdom, even when things don't go as I expect, knowing Your plans are always best. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”

Ask for the Holy Spirit’s power: “By the power of Your Holy Spirit, establish my steps, guide my decisions, and direct my path. Help me to focus on what truly matters, to prioritize rightly, and to find Your wisdom in every detail, so that my life and work bring You glory and bear lasting fruit. Thank You for being my ultimate guide and for establishing my future in Your loving hands. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."

So good!

The Israelites completely lost their direction. They forgot they were eating food they didn’t work for, pay for, or do anything to get except pick it up. But they whined, “We don’t want it! We want Egypt!” They let the things they tasted, touched, smelled, and felt dictate the priorities of their lives. - Out of the Book “Lord, Change My Attitude.”

Who do you need to share your story and your tears with? Who needs to know they aren’t alone?

Our tears unite us. They make us safe. They allow us to sit beside someone and whisper, “The Lord helped me survive and He’ll help you too. I’ll hold your hand while you find your way to Him.”

I know how easy it is to isolate ourselves when our hearts are desperately hurting. Trust me. I can isolate with the best of them. But I believe you have lessons you can share from your brokenness that are valuable and helpful

I’m going to lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey. I’m going to bless you, take care of you, and provide for you. It’s not going to be easy along the way, but I’m going to be with you. And God delivered on that awesome promise day after day. You’d think the people would’ve been amazed. They’d been rescued, protected, miraculously fed, clothed, and assured of God‘s presence by a cloud by day and by a pillar of fire at night. You’d think the topic around the campfire every night would’ve been the awesome things God did that day or at least that they would’ve said thanks and their evening prayers.

Instead, the Israelites gripped about what they had left behind in Egypt. They fussed about the miracle bread God provided daily. They whined about their future. The complaining escalated to the point that when they reached the edge of the promised land, God said, “ENOUGH!” He was so fed up with her rotten attitudes that he said to Moses, “I’m going to kill them all and start over a new nation with you.!” But Moses said, “Lord, don’t do that. How would that reflect on you?” So God relented: “All right then. They’re going back into the wilderness, and they’re going to stay in the wilderness until everyone of them over 20 years old does. Then I’ll give their kids what they wouldn’t let Me give them.”

In spite of ALL GOD DID FOR THEM, the people responded with COMPLAINING. The Bible repeatedly refers to their complaing— in the Psalms, in the Prophets, in the Gospels, in the Epistles, and three seprate times in the book of Hebrews. The men who wrote Scripture were always thinking about the way God regards grumbling. He hates a doubtful, complaining, rebellious attitude, and He simply won’t tolerate it. If we choose complaining as our lifestyle, we can be absolutely sure we”ll be sent to live in the wilderness.
