What does it mean to be Transformed by the light?

What role do grace, hope, faith, and joy have in this transformational process resulting in a rebirth, increased awareness, and a new perspective? How does the concept of resurrection fit into our lives today and beyond?

This will be an Interfaith Service. We will explore through story/metaphor, word, prayer, meditation, contemplation, reflection, and practices the gifts of Spring, Easter, Earth Day, and many interfaith principles, concepts, and interpretations of resurrection and celebrations that happen at this time of year. We will contemplate our present situation in the world and in our own lives. Together we will seek to bring meaning, understanding, and compassion to our present situation by using the principles of our faith and multiple faith traditions!

Join us as we explore how these practices and traditions resonate in us, our community, and the global community. Led by Rev. Melanie Gambino, with contributions by members of our Croton Falls Chapel Interfaith Community.

“Dreaming our Dreams of Peace, Hope, and Healing for the New Year!”

Join us via Zoom on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022 at 10:30 for our monthly Interfaith Service led by Rev. Melanie Gambino.

Rise, Shine, and Create: Setting our personal and our collective intentions, dreams, and visions for the New Year. We will spend some time reflecting on the messages of MLK and others and how their visions have shaped our own world view.

Let us take time to slow down, and ground ourselves in our spiritual practices. Taking time to set new intentions, to in-vision and envision, deep and meaningful goals for 2022. Let the seeds of our hopes, dreams, and goals gestate and take root. With time and cultivation, we begin to come into the fullness of our spiritual lives. Let’s make time to practice together, to take a few Peaceful moments to light a candle, contemplate, meditate, co-create, pray, and invasion/envision our highest and finest good and the highest and finest good for our planet, humanity, and for the world.
