Happy Resurrection Day!! Just wanted to pop in and remind all of our Chapel family of the most powerful four words ever uttered. These words give us hope, happiness and Heaven! What are those words? “He is not here!” Thanks be unto our God and Father! He’s still not there! From our family to yours, Happy He’s Not Here Day!

I can’t wait to see you all next week as we kick off Deer Run Chapel Season 2026!

Good morning, everyone. This is a friendly reminder that our first Chapel Service is scheduled for Sunday, April 12th, at 9:00 AM, on the first Sunday after Easter. We hope to see each of you there and encourage you to bring a friend. Pastor Tony is expected to share a powerful word from the Lord. We pray God's blessings upon each of you until we meet.

Hello DR Chapel family! I hope and pray that you all have been able to stay safe and warm! Thank you for all your prayers for Gwyn and myself during this time of healing and rehabilitation for my shoulder replacement. I received a great report today from the surgeon so the rehab and healing continues. Now we are just trying to stay warm, and keep our chickens warm, during this freeze. Our hearts break for the many clients we serve at Angelic, and we ask you to keep them in your prayers with us.
While I do appreciate the warning for severe weather, whether if be rain, snow, heat or wind, I do think we sometimes spend too much time predicting it and not enough time just using common sense. This reminded me of a parable in Matthew.
Matt 16: 2 He answered and said unto them, when it is evening, ye say, it will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3 And in the morning, it will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
I saw a quote that said, “The weather man says its going to snow and we panic, the preacher says Jesus is coming and we do nothing”. There is much truth in that.
What I am so very grateful for is the time when there will be an uncloudy day!
1. It’s a place of perfect peace:
• No storms, shadows, or sorrows
• In heaven, a place of constant calm.
2. It’s a place of radiant revelation:
• No fog of fear, no haze of heartache
3. It’s a place of holy happiness
• No tears, no trials. no tragedies
4. It’s a place of divine deliverance:
• From darkness of our days to the dawn of His dominion the brokenness of this world to the brightness of the world to come.
Conclusion: ‘So lift your eyes, steady your steps, strengthen your spirit.
For beyond the burdens, beyond the battles, beyond the brokenness,
there shines a sure, steady, sovereign sunrise—the land of unclouded day,
where the redeemed will rest, rejoice, and revel in the radiance of their Redeemer.’
“Oh, the land of cloudless day, Oh the land of an unclouded sky. Oh, they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise. Oh, they tell me of an unclouded day” …Now that’s a great forecast!

Happy New Year Chapel friends!

“A New Thing in a New Season”
Isaiah 43:18–19

1. Release the Remembrance
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”
God is not calling Israel to lose memory, but to loosen their grip on what once was. Past failures can foster fear, and past successes can fuel pride. Either way, dwelling on yesterday can distract us from today’s obedience.

2. Refocus Your Recognition
“Do you not perceive it?”
God’s new work often begins quietly. Discernment requires spiritual sensitivity, not sentimental longing. When we refocus our hearts on God, we recognize His movement even in uncertain moments.

3. Rejoice in Renewal
“See, I am doing a new thing!”
God specializes in renewal, not repetition. His power is not exhausted by past miracles. The same God who parted seas now promises paths in wildernesses and rivers in deserts—unexpected provision in impossible places.

4. Respond with Resolve
“I will make a way… I will make streams.”
God’s promise demands a faithful response. We move forward with confident obedience, trusting that where God guides, He provides.

The Rearview Mirror and the Windshield
When you drive a car, there are two important pieces of glass: the rearview mirror and the windshield. The rearview mirror is small, designed only for brief glances. The windshield is wide, meant for constant focus.
If a driver tries to steer while staring at the rearview mirror, an accident is inevitable. The mirror helps you remember where you’ve been—but it was never meant to determine where you’re going.
God tells His people, “Forget the former things.” He is not erasing history; He is correcting their focus. The past is a reference point, not a residence.
Then God says, “See, I am doing a new thing.” That’s the windshield—wide with possibility, open road ahead. Even when the road looks like a wilderness or desert, God promises to make a way and provide streams.

When we fixate on yesterday’s failures or victories, we miss today’s movement of God. The past belongs in the mirror, but faith looks through the windshield—expecting God to do something new.

Love and Prayers,
Bro. Tony

“Blessed Because She Believed”
Luke 1:45
“Blessed is she who believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her.”
Mary’s story reminds us that blessing doesn’t begin with what we see—it begins with what we believe. Before there was a manger, a miracle, or a Messiah in her arms, there was simple, steady trust in her heart. Mary found favor in the sight of the Lord among all women. She chose confidence over confusion, faith over fear, and surrender over self protection.
God honored her belief long before He unveiled His blessing.
Today, we’re invited into that same:
1. Posture to Believe what God has spoken
2. Privilege to Bring Him our uncertainty
3. Provision to Build our lives on His promises
Believing is one thing. Belief is quite another. Belief carries with it the idea that there is action based on what we believe. Our lives are shaped by our beliefs.
Blessing follows belief—not because faith forces God’s hand, but because faith opens our heart. When we trust that God will do what God has said, we step into the joy, peace, and purpose He’s already prepared.

Gwyn and I wish all of our Deer Run family a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!! We pray for your days to be full of joy and good health, and we look forward to being back together in chapel on April 12th!
