Bible Connections Ministries was founded Jan. 28, 2011 by Pastor Shay & Tony Raines by the direction & inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Shay studied theology & Pastoral Ministry thru Northwest Nazarene University. p. Our Mission Statement is simple, everything that is said & done within the context of this ministry is not about us, its all about HIM. Bible Connections focuses on ministering the truth of God's Holy Word, an intense & sincere focus on prayer & fasting, discipleship & teaching the believer, while @ the same time, forming a family & group bond. This ministry is based on the premise of Acts 2:42, "And they devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread & to prayers". We are an Independent, Evangelical, Non-Denominational Ministry that teaches a Wesleyan holiness doctrine. We meet specifically to study the Word of God, to pray, to fellowship with like-minded believers, to engage in community outreach functions, to do acts of service projects for our community, "Blessing Bags" for the homeless, etc. We also offer & highly encourage Spiritual Gifts Testing to determine the "gifts" that God has put within you, to equip you for service, to help edify the church. Our model, is a Biblical model. WE (the believers) are the church, not a building. We meet every Wednesday evening for "Connecting the Dots" bible study @ 5:30 p.m. A meal is provided each & every week that is served (free of charge) before the study begins. The study itself starts @ 6 p.m. Our men's group "Contenders in the Faith Men's fellowship" meets monthly, the 3rd Saturday @ the church @ 9 a.m. Sunday morning services start @ 10 a.m. Our Worship style is mostly Contemporary with a mix of hymns.
