We are celebrating Holy Communion today, and we hope you will join us. Everyone is welcome. The only requirement is wanting to participate.

Sunday School - 9:30am for all ages
Worship - 10:30am
We meet in person at 500 Main Street in Crossett and livestream our service at fumcoc.org.

Rev. Matt Daniels will bring the message "Room at the table" from Romans 14:1-12 (NRSV), and we will share celebrations, prayer requests, music, and fellowship. Holy Communion will follow the sermon today. Gather any beverage and bread or cracker to join us.

We are so proud of Finley Moffatt, our newest acolyte! He served with Bryant Wall on Sunday in this important position.

Acolytes serve in different ways in Methodist church services. In our church, the acolytes bring the light of Christ into our service, light the altar candles, help with the offering, and take the light out into the world at the end of the service.
Finley received a special pin honoring his first Sunday of service, and Rev. Matt Daniels prayed a special prayer of blessing over this awesome young man.

Dear friends of FUMC Crossett,
We now have the videos from our last two worship services posted on our website, fumcoc.org.
The video from August 16 includes the very special Blessing of the Backpacks service.
The video from August 23 includes one of our very favorite times, the Joyful Noise Offering.

We apologize to anyone who has tried to worship with us by livestream for the last few weeks. We are working on the issues we've had to try to get back online with you all on Sunday mornings.

Be sure to bring your change for the children's Joyful Noise Offering at FUMC Crossett tomorrow! We love watching the children with their "noisy" buckets as they collect this offering from their church family. Your smiling faces and encouragement are forming habits of cheerful giving in these youngest ones in our congregation.
