I removed myself from Facebook through the Lenten season. This was a difficult choice for me. However, this absence allowed me to draw closer to my Lord. I pray that you all had and continue to have an amazing Easter. We are a resurrected people. I pray that whatever you think controls you is dead and gone. The cross was enough, all we have to do is trust in the Resurrection. Rise above the pride. Rise above the doubt. Jesus loves you so very much. We at Cross Plains UMC would love to show you that love in action. Live into the resurrection. His name is JESUS.

We have turned our church basement into a theater for the afternoon! You are invited to a free screening (with free popcorn) of "Ordinary Angels" at 3:00 pm today (Saturday). Starring Hilary Swank, Alan Ritchson, Nancy Travis, and Tamala Jones, the film is rated PG. Park across the street and enter the basement around back. Limited parking in the back for those that need it.

Due to the resolve of the weather conditions we at Cross Plains UMC have decided to cancel in person worship for February 1st. Please stay home and safe. We will have a published service tomorrow morning at 10:30am. It will be on “Nourishing”

Greetings Friends of Christ Jesus. We at Cross Plains UMC have been studying what it means to be United Methodist. Part of that is reason. So, using reason we are canceling in person worship.
