Our Name:

The name Seventh-day Adventist includes vital beliefs for us as a Church. 'Adventist' reflects our passionate conviction in the nearness of the soon return ('advent') of Jesus. 'Seventh-day' refers to the Biblical Sabbath which from Creation has always been the seventh day of the week, or Saturday.

“Never Forget” Sermon by Pastor Glenn Hill

Think back to a time when you faced something horrible. Then, seemingly at the last moment, God stepped in and changed the course of events. What happened next?

The answer to that question can make the difference between a passing sense of relief and a deeper opportunity for spiritual growth. As we reflect on God’s faithfulness in our lives, we discover that remembering His blessings can strengthen our trust in Him and draw us closer to His heart.

Join us as Pastor Glenn Hill shares a message titled “Never Forget.” Come and be encouraged as we seek to move beyond relief into lasting growth through God’s grace and guidance.

🎉 Please help us welcome our Summer Pastoral Intern, Sam Ramos! 🎉

We are excited to have Sam serving alongside Pastor Glenn and our church family this summer.

Sam is entering his third year at Southern Adventist University where he is studying Theology and Pastoral Care as he prepares for a life of ministry.

A few fun facts about Sam:

📍 Originally from Medellín, Colombia and Portland, Oregon

⚽ Favorite sport: Soccer (FC Barcelona fan!)

🥤 Favorite drink: Sweet Tea

📖 Favorite Bible character: David

🍜 Favorite food: Pho

🍍 Pineapple on pizza? YES… every time!

🎮 Challenge him to Mario Kart Wii or Ping Pong if you’re feeling brave!

When asked what he is most excited about this summer, Sam said:

“Working with new people and growing as a leader.”

One thing Sam asks us to pray for:

🙏 “Clarity from God regarding what branch of ministry He is calling me to pursue.”

And in his own words:

“I don’t fully know what I am doing, but I want to learn, so please come talk to me.”

Church family, be sure to introduce yourself, welcome him, and keep him in your prayers throughout the summer.

👇 Let’s make Sam feel at home! Drop a welcome message in the comments and tell him a place he should visit, or your favorite thing about our church family.

We can’t wait to see how God will bless Sam and our church through this summer internship!

We are so excited to share that one of our Kingdom Seekers Youth Leaders, Mr. Jacob, has been given an incredible opportunity to serve this summer at Indian Creek Camp as a youth counselor, helping lead and oversee the climbing wall ministry!

At Kingdom Seekers Youth, our motto is “Be an Example” — and this summer, Mr. Jacob gets the opportunity to live that out in a special way by serving, mentoring, encouraging, and pointing young people closer to Jesus.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12

We are incredibly thankful for Jacob’s willingness to answer God’s call to serve. Camp ministry is more than activities — it’s about building relationships, encouraging faith, and creating moments where young people can experience Jesus in meaningful ways. We know God will use him to be a blessing to many lives this summer.

Of course, we also had to make sure Mr. Jacob heads to camp looking sharp — so we had to get him some nice Indian Creek Camp swag (apparel) to help represent well this summer! 😎

Church family, will you join us in praying?

Please pray for Mr. Jacob as he serves:
• Safety and protection
• Wisdom and spiritual strength
• Opportunities to be a Christlike influence
• Encouragement, energy, and joy as he ministers

And while you’re praying, please also lift up the 17 young people our church family is sponsoring to attend camp this summer! Pray that God would prepare their hearts, strengthen their faith, build godly friendships, and draw each one closer to Him through this life-changing experience.

“We are excited to be sending Jacob as our missionary to children at Indian Creek Camp. We know that God will bless others through Jacob even as He has blessed our young people through Jacob. We are proud of him and are thankful for his ministry to others.”~Pastor Glenn
