Are you holding on to something that is weighing heavily on your mind? Maybe it’s a grudge. Perhaps you’re worried about something, or clinging tightly to someone or something you fear you couldn’t live without if it were suddenly gone.

Real prayer doesn’t hide pain. Real prayer takes the messiness to God.

God wants us to honestly give everything to Him in prayer, because no matter what we’re feeling, nothing is too big for Him to handle. He is the only one able to give us the strength to deal with the mess when it’s still there.

Have you ever been misunderstood? Maybe you had great intentions, but somehow it looked like you were up to something else. What can you do when you find yourself in the middle of the mess?

Join us as Pastor Glenn Hill shares the message “Misunderstood.” We’ll go back in time and look at Hannah, who faced multiple levels of misunderstanding. At first, it seemed to destroy her life, but along the way, she found hope. The key steps in Hannah’s journey can point us toward hope when we feel misunderstood, discouraged, or caught in circumstances beyond our control.

This message is the first part of a special new 8 part sermon series by Pastor Glenn titled “Living in Messy Times.” Through this series, we’ll discover what God teaches us about faithfully following him even when life gets messy.
