Tis the season for Cross Lanes UMC Youth Group!

All youth 6th-12th grades are invited to join us for worship at 10, and then stay for youth group, 11:15-12:15.

Upcoming plans include: Cookie making for the Thanksgiving meal (Nov 17), WVUMC Fall Workshop (Nov 22-24), Christmas Lights in Charleston, Secret Santa and more!

One of the potential sites for our summer 2025 mission trip!

Hinton Rural Life Center’s 10-week Summer Mission Outreach program is a popular destination and service opportunity for youth mission experiences! Open to participants as young as 12 (younger if parent/guardian is on the team), our summer program runs Sunday through Thursday and features three days of our Safe & Healthy Home Repair ministry, worship and devotional times, poverty awareness/perspective activities, Appalachian Culture Night, delicious meals, and fun Staff-Camper Challenges with our amazing crew of college-aged summer staffers. Hi everyone - looking forward to Sunday (October 20!)

Bring your ideas for fun, not too scary, activities to have for our October 30 community meal.

We have a couple of things to do to help get ready for All Saints Day.

We will talk about registering for Fall Workshop - which is a state wide youth gathering at Jackson’s Mill November 22-24

And we have an opportunity to help provide take away meals for the homeless in our area - want to hear your thoughts!

Take a look at Job chapter 38. We will take some time for bible study too!

Calling all CLUM youth 6th-12th grades:

We had some great ideas at last week's meeting - now it's time to put some dates on the calendar and we need you!

The balcony is open for worship at 10 (if you would like to sit with others) and then we will gather in the youth room from 11:15 until 12:30.
