All parishioners from Immaculate Heart and St. Emily's are invited to an event with the nonprofit organization, Rotary Eliminating Human Trafficking, and their efforts to inform the public of the issue of human trafficking in the Brainerd Lakes area. The event will be held on Monday, May 9 at 7 PM in the IHC social hall. Refreshments will be served. The Knights of Columbus look forward to your attendance.

The Crosslake/Emily Knights would like to offer our congratulations to the Glen and Kitty Young family on their reception of the
Knights of Columbus Family of the Year award for 2020-2021!

Glen has been a member of the KC’s since 2015.
Glen and Kitty both serve as ushers at IHC. The family has helped serve the Endowment Dinner the past several years. They also help with donut Sunday and the Faith Formation dinners on Wednesday. Glen created and administered the first KC web site. Glen is the technical person on the new live streaming system at IHC. He is also broadcasting the Sunday Mass live on streaming system (cameraman) . Their son Nathan is a member of the KC’s Nathan is presently a missionary with Creatio out of Colorado. They also have a daughter Caitlin who works as a social worker in Brainerd. Glen is a qualified emergency medical responder and past member of the Mission Fire Department. The Young Family is a model Catholic family.
