Funeral Services for Bro. Kenneth Cobb, Sr.:

Kenneth Lynn Cobb Sr., 79, passed away Wednesday May 20, 2026, at his childhood home in Crosby, Mississippi. Kenneth was born September 21, 1946 to Tyrus Raymond Cobb and Sallie Bryant Cobb in Crosby, MS. He graduated Gloster High School in 1967, then after graduation, he started working for Carter’s Garment factory in Centreville, MS., until it’s closing in 1998. There he met the love of his life Sue Pritchard, and were married in 1975, until her untimely passing in July of 2017. They were married for forty-two wonderful years. They had two sons, Kenneth Lynn CobbJr. and Christopher James Cobb.
He also went to work at Fred Netterville Lumber Company for five years. In 2003, he began working for Freedom Industries for five years until he was medically retired after having a Triple bypass heart surgery. He then just helped around the house in any fashion that he could, but was limited.
Kenneth was a good man, he was a lifelong member of Crosby Baptist Church and regularly attended every Wednesday and Sunday.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife Sue Pritchard Cobb; his eldest son Kenneth Lynn Cobb Jr.; his eldest brother James Cobb; eldest sister Martha Deininger, and sister Phalba Joyce Perry.
He is survived by his youngest son Christopher James Cobb; grandson Payton Lane Cobb.
Visitation will be Saturday May 30, 2026 at Crosby Baptist Church, from 9:30 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10:00 A.M. at the church, officiated by Rev. Bart Houston. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jimbo Cobb, Darryl Pritchard, Dave Allred, Sammy Lanehart, Mike Goff, and Shelton McGraw.
