โœจ Worship in the Waiting โœจ

We were reminded that sometimes faith in the waiting means taking time to worship. ๐Ÿ™

Our Pastors and leadership team put together a playlist of songs to encourage us during this season. We invite you to listen along with us and remember that even in the waiting, God is worthy of our praise. ๐ŸŽถ

๐Ÿณโ˜•๐ŸŒฟ Men's Breakfast is still going strong this summer! ๐ŸŒฟโ˜•

Join us on:

๐Ÿ“… June 27
๐Ÿ“… July 25

It's a great time to enjoy breakfast together, spend time in God's Word through a short devotion, and connect with other men in our church family.

And if the weather cooperates, we'll spend some time working on the land afterward. ๐Ÿšœ๐ŸŒฑ

We hope you'll join us for good food, fellowship, and serving together!

Reading: Haggai 1:1-11; Matthew 6:25-33

Devotional: The people of Israel returned from exile and immediately focused on building their own homes while God's temple lay in ruins. How often do we do the sameโ€”filling our calendars with everything except time with God? Spiritual drift rarely looks like rebellion; it looks like procrastination and postponement. We don't aggressively reject God; we simply stop making Him priority. Today, examine your schedule, your finances, your energy. What receives your "first fruits"? God doesn't ask to be included in your lifeโ€”He asks to be the foundation. When we seek first His kingdom, everything else finds its proper place. What one thing can you rearrange today to put God first?

Ever feel like you're drifting away from Godโ€”not through rebellion, but simply by letting other things take priority? The book of Haggai reminds us that spiritual drift rarely looks dramatic. It's the slow fade that happens when we put God second, third, or somewhere down the list.

Here's the beautiful truth: God's presence is often waiting on the other side of our obedience. When the Israelites realigned their priorities and started rebuilding His temple, God didn't just show upโ€”He sparked enthusiasm in their hearts! The same is true for us today. When we make Him priority, clarity follows and everything changes.

God isn't asking for your leftovers or your "when I get around to it" moments. He's asking to be first. And when you give Him that place, He promises to shake heaven and earth on your behalf and bring peace in the midst of it all. You've been chosen to bear His signet ringโ€”to leave a God-sized impression wherever you go.

Reading: Mark 4:35-41

Devotional: The disciples faced a literal storm while Jesus slept peacefully in their boat. Their panic revealed a crucial truth: we can be physically near Jesus yet emotionally distant from His peace. Notice that Jesus didn't prevent the stormโ€”He accompanied them through it. God's promise isn't that we'll avoid getting wet, but that we won't drown. The same Jesus who calmed ancient waves speaks "peace, be still" over your current chaos. What storms are you facing today? Instead of asking "Don't you care?" try inviting Jesus to speak into your specific circumstance. He's already in your boat; now let Him calm your fears.
