Today, the Missionaries of the Holy Apostles (MSA) offered a special Mass for the intentions of our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, at the Holy Apostles College & Seminary campus.

During the homily, Fr. Peter Kucer, MSA—President-Rector of Holy Apostles College & Seminary—shared that some of our members had the privilege of knowing the Holy Father personally during their ministry in Peru. Among them were Bishop Isaac Martínez Chuquizana, MSA (Cajamarca, Peru), and Very Rev. Luis Luna Barrera, MSA, our General Animator.

Fr. Peter reflected on Pope Leo’s beautiful invitation to “joyfully” witness to our faith in Christ our Savior.

Habemus Papam!

Holy Apostles College and Seminary joins the Church throughout the world in joyful thanksgiving for the election of Pope Leo XIV, the successor of St. Peter.

Formed by the Holy Spirit and entrusted with the care of Christ’s flock, Pope Leo XIV steps into this sacred role with humility, courage, and deep faith. As a community rooted in fidelity to the Magisterium, we pledge our prayers and support for our new Holy Father.

May God bless Pope Leo XIV abundantly. May Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom, intercede for him. And may the Church, under his guidance, grow ever deeper in truth, love, and holiness.

Join us in prayer for the respose of the soul of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.

With sorrow, Holy Apostles College and Seminary joins the universal Church in mourning the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. A shepherd of deep humility, unwavering faith, and boundless love for the poor and marginalized, Pope Francis dedicated his life to proclaiming the mercy of God. His legacy of pastoral care and evangelization will continue to inspire generations of clergy, religious, and laity alike.

As we commend his soul to the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father, we ask all members of our community to unite in prayer for the repose of his soul and for the Church as she entrusts herself to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon
him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Last month, Holy Apostles College & Seminary celebrated the Institution of Lectors & Acolytes. Among those was Br. Ronald Aucoin, MSA, who shared:

"It was an exciting day to receive the ministry of Lector from the Most Reverend Archbishop Christopher J. Coyne during the Institution Mass for Lectors and Acolytes. This was a very special day for me, as it marks an important step on my journey to the priesthood. Being able to celebrate this milestone with my brothers and sisters in Christ is truly a communal blessing. The journey to this point in my formation has been wonderful, and I am looking forward to many more blessings as I continue on the blessed path that the Good Lord has prepared for me."
