Somebody reading this needs to hear this today:

You can love Jesus and still be struggling.

You can go to church and still have anxiety.
You can worship and still carry anger.
You can pray and still battle addiction.
You can love your family and still struggle with control.
You can have faith and still be carrying wounds from years ago.
You can look completely put together on the outside while falling apart inside.

That doesn’t make you a bad Christian.

It makes you human… and you don’t have to keep hiding.

Celebrate Recovery isn’t just for addiction.

It’s for hurts.
It’s for habits.
It’s for hang-ups.
It’s for the things we keep saying we’re “fine” about when we know we’re not.

There are Celebrate Recovery groups all over, filled with ordinary people learning how to stop hiding, start healing, and find freedom through Jesus Christ.

Maybe you’ve scrolled past these Celebrate Recovery posts a hundred times.

Maybe today you were supposed to stop.

❤️ You don’t have to be at rock bottom to reach for freedom.

Did you know OVER-COMMITTING can be a hang-up?

Sometimes staying busy looks like being responsible, helpful, or even serving others.

But sometimes we say YES to everything because we’re afraid of disappointing people.

We fill every empty space.
We take responsibility for things that aren’t ours.
We keep pouring when we’re already empty.
And eventually… resentment, exhaustion, and burnout show up.

Recovery teaches us that “no” can be a healthy word.

Setting boundaries doesn’t mean you don’t care. It means you’re learning that you don’t have to earn your worth by constantly doing for everyone else.

Jesus didn’t call us to be everything to everybody.

Today, ask yourself:

Am I serving from a healthy place… or am I afraid of what people will think if I say no?

That might be something worth bringing into the light. ❤️

Did you know attention-seeking can be a hang-up?

Sometimes the need to be noticed, praised, reassured, or validated can become something we depend on.

We may chase attention because deep down we’re afraid of being forgotten, overlooked, or not enough.

But healing begins when we stop looking to people to constantly prove our worth and start believing what God says about us.

At Celebrate Recovery, we learn to uncover what’s underneath the behavior and allow God to heal the places that keep asking, “Do I matter?”

You do matter.
You are seen.
And you don’t have to perform for love.

Pull the Weeds

A healthy garden requires more than watering. Sometimes it needs pruning. Sometimes it needs weeds removed. Recovery is much the same.

Resentment.
Bitterness.
People-pleasing.
Negative self-talk.
Old lies.

They compete for space where healthy growth belongs.

Healing isn’t only about planting new things. It’s also about letting go of what no longer belongs.

✨ Try this today:
Ask yourself, “What thought, habit, or attitude has been taking up space in my heart?” Give God permission to help you remove it.

💬 Let’s talk:
What’s one “weed” you’ve been working to pull lately?

Did you know Self-Sabotage can be a hang-up?

Sometimes the biggest thing standing in our way… is us.

We say we want change, but then fall back into the same patterns.
We push people away.
We quit when things get uncomfortable.
We convince ourselves we’re going to fail before we even begin.

Sometimes we sabotage good things because dysfunction feels more familiar than freedom.

Recovery teaches us to recognize those patterns, surrender them to God, and start making different choices.

You don’t have to keep getting in your own way. Freedom is possible.
