Hope Nazarene in Mechanicsville has me thinking this morning. (This is Carolyn). My daddy used to say “If my kids can’t go, I will not go”. Growing up, I did not pay much attention to his sayings but as an adult, I think about them often. This is a saying he actually told my husband who listened! Anyway, let’s think about this for a minute. We always want to go where His presence is! Hopefully we recognize instantly if His presence would be nowhere to be found! Why would we ever go to a place where His presence is not? And it does not have to be a “tangible” place. It may be in your living room based on what you’re watching on TV or reading in a book. I guess the lesson here is PAY ATTENTION. Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Have a great Thursday!
