Pride is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are. In Judaism, we are taught that every person is created b’tzelem Elohim, in the image of God, and that true community is built through belonging, dignity, and love.

This Pride Month, we celebrate LGBTQ+ members of our community and reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where everyone can show up fully as themselves. May we continue to strengthen one another through compassion, connection, and pride. 🌈

We’re hiring at Congregation B’nai Amoona!

Congregation B’nai Amoona is hiring a Development & Membership Manager. We are looking for a relationship-driven professional who can help grow both philanthropic support and membership engagement at B’nai Amoona.

This role will focus on building relationships with donors, prospective members, current members, and volunteer leaders. The right candidate will be comfortable meeting with people, making fundraising asks, stewarding donors, supporting volunteer committees, and helping prospective members feel welcomed, informed, and connected from their first conversation through onboarding.

The position will support annual giving, Benefactor giving, sponsorships, donor stewardship, membership recruitment, new member follow-up, and engagement efforts that help families and individuals find their place in our congregation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit development, membership recruitment, sales, community relations, or nonprofit advancement.

Congregation B’nai Amoona is a vibrant Conservative synagogue in St. Louis, home to approximately 650 member units and dedicated to Jewish learning, worship, community, and connection across generations.
