As we bring another faith filled Religious Education year to a close, we thank all of our catechists, volunteers and families for their dedication.

In particular we honor Fran F. and Sue S, 2nd grade catechists for many years, with the Chris Smarz catechetical award. We also offer our deepest appreciation to our Sharon Wanatowicz volunteer award winner, Patsy F. God Bless our Program.

Beginning with the Confirmation Class of 2019, Incarnation St. Terrence Parish is proud to bestow the Terry Lee Award annually to the Confirmation candidates who best exemplify the spirit of Mr. Terry Lee.

Terry Lee was a beloved and dedicated eighth grade Confirmation catechist for over twenty years at Incarnation Parish. During that time, Terry shared his Catholic faith, his wisdom, and his sense of humor with hundreds of Confirmation candidates. Many young lives were changed for the better because of the generosity of his vocation. Terry lived out his Baptismal Call, week after week, year after year, with a joy and a compassion that will never be forgotten. Since his death from cancer in 2017, we have honored two Confirmation candidates each year who carry on his spirit.

The Terry Lee Award is presented to the Confirmation candidates who are examples of Terry’s “Fruits of the Spirit” qualities of:
1. Faithfulness, especially to the spirit of Confirmation – Terry had a visible love of God and dedication to his discipleship in Christ Jesus;
2. Kindness & Welcoming – Terry was outgoing, with a sense of humor and a warm smile that made people feel at ease; and
3. Openness of Spirit – Terry’s easy going and gentle nature reflected the presence of the Holy Spirit within him. Terry shared this freely with others.

The 2026 recipients are: Abigail R and Eoin F.

“Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me according to your word.” 🤍
On this Annunciation, we remember Mary’s fearless “yes” a yes that changed the world forever. In her humility and trust, she shows us how to surrender our own plans and embrace God’s will with courage and love.

This week in class, our families participated in the Lenten Mercy Project. Together they decorated beautiful flower pots to give to someone who may need extra prayers, or to place in a special spot at home as a reminder to pray for others during the Lent.
