When we talk about Crossgenerational Ministry at Salem we mean that every generation has gift to share in the church. Our ministry is not as full as it could be without every generation. Someone, some church, probably many "someones," taught this young boy that he can be a person of prayer who can offer that gift for the solace of others. Powerful.

From Bishop Scott (Who will be visiting Salem on December 13). We were very fortunate Pastor Jim was seeking a call in our area so soon after Pastor Evan finished his ministry here. It's not as common an experience for congregations these days--but the call to ministry is ongoing.

We had a great time sharing God’s love at Accura Healthcare this afternoon! The kids presented the residents and staff with a corn hole game and paint supplies purchased with their noisy offering funds. They played some corn hole with our new friends, Judy and Rosella, and Rosella enjoyed working with the new paints!

Our youngest disciples will be shopping for paint supplies for the residents at Accura Wednesday, July 15, at 1:00pm. They have already purchased a corn hole game for the residents with their Noisy Offering collection and will be playing corn hole with the residents at 1:30pm. They invite you to come join them at Accura (formerly Crest Haven) on East Howard St. for a game (or more) of corn hole! See you at 1:30pm!
