Catholic Education Foundation Diocese of Joliet Committed to the long-term financial strength and viability of diocesan Catholic Education

The Catholic Education Foundation is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit charitable corporation dedicated to the advancement of Catholic education in the Diocese of Joliet. The Foundation’s mission is to provide long-term financial support to diocesan Catholic schools, and to Catholic educational programs of diocesan parishes and organizations. To meet this goal, the Foundation educates the general public of num

erous tax advantaged gift vehicles, and works with the donor to determine an effective and appropriate plan to match their specific charitable intent. The seven counties of the Diocese of Joliet are blessed to have forty-eight elementary schools and seven high schools, each striving to bring the word of God to children in a Catholic faith-based environment. The Foundation directly distributes hundreds of need-based scholarships and educational program grants each year. The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors, which includes both clergy and lay leaders from the diocese.
