Dave has been performing improv and coaching improv in the Midwest since 2018. In 2022, after being laid off, Dave felt called to go from part-time

ministry using improv to help survivors of trauma to doing so full-time. Since 2018, Dave has been volunteering at Salt and Light Coalition in Chicago, using improv fundamentals to help in the growth, development, and healing in the survivors of s*x trafficking that Salt and Light serves. Dave and Bobbie are ready to serve any organization that helps with the after care for men, women, and children who have survived incredible trauma, such as trafficking.

Gifts for Glory Ministries became the umbrella under which four ministry efforts resided. With its roots dating back to 2013, the improv ministry team of Well Versed Comedy performed improv shows that were clean and accessible for all ages. Created in 2018, PureFest: America's Pure Comedy Festival was a gathering of Christian improv and sketch performers from across the nation. Co-founder of Well Versed Comedy and Gifts for Glory Ministries, Dave Ebert, a credentialed minister, experienced improviser and actor, improv coach, and speaker.

Beginning 2018, Gifts for Glory Podcast featured weekly stories of men and women using their gifts for God's Glory. G4G podcast started as an audio podcast then became a video podcast. Dave aired his final episode in 2024 in order to step into missions full-time before his passing away.

Since 2013, Dave and his ministry efforts have been all about using Our Gifts for His Glory. . Today, I am honored and excited to announce Gifts For Glory will continue giving platform to men and women using their gifts for God's glory.

Ryan McChesney was Dave's right-hand man and best friend since co-founding what became known as Well Versed Comedy. Ryan is also a featured guest on Gifts for Glory. It does Dave and I a great honor to have Ryan continue this ministry legacy in the Gifts For Glory Podcast!
