Improv Missionaries The World's First Improv Missionaries! Dave and Bobbie are dedicated to using the gift of comedy and creativity to unlock hearts and minds for God's Kingdom!

Join our support team at partner.improvmissionaries.com Pastors Dave and Bobbie Ebert are US Missionary Candidates that use improv to help in the healing process for survivors of trauma, which includes a focus on survivors of s*x and human trafficking. Dave has been performing improv and coaching improv in the Midwest since 2018. In 2022, after being laid off, Dave felt called to go from part-time ministry using improv to help survivors of trauma to doing so full-time. Since 2018, Dave has been volunteering at Salt and Light Coalition in Chicago, using improv fundamentals to help in the growth, development, and healing in the survivors of s*x trafficking that Salt and Light serves. Dave and Bobbie are ready to serve any organization that helps with the after care for men, women, and children who have survived incredible trauma, such as trafficking.

Gifts for Glory Ministries became the umbrella under which four ministry efforts resided. With its roots dating back to 2013, the improv ministry team of Well Versed Comedy performed improv shows that were clean and accessible for all ages. Created in 2018, PureFest: America's Pure Comedy Festival was a gathering of Christian improv and sketch performers from across the nation. Co-founder of Well Versed Comedy and Gifts for Glory Ministries, Dave Ebert, a credentialed minister, experienced improviser and actor, improv coach, and speaker.

Beginning 2018, Gifts for Glory Podcast featured weekly stories of men and women using their gifts for God's Glory. G4G podcast started as an audio podcast then became a video podcast. Dave aired his final episode in 2024 in order to step into missions full-time before his passing away.

Since 2013, Dave and his ministry efforts have been all about using Our Gifts for His Glory. . Today, I am honored and excited to announce Gifts For Glory will continue giving platform to men and women using their gifts for God's glory.

Ryan McChesney was Dave's right-hand man and best friend since co-founding what became known as Well Versed Comedy. Ryan is also a featured guest on Gifts for Glory. It does Dave and I a great honor to have Ryan continue this ministry legacy in the Gifts For Glory Podcast!

MISSIONS UPDATE

Hi everyone! It's been 14 weeks since Dave went home to Jesus. I want to thank each of you for your love, prayers and continued support. These past few months, I've been in deep grief and grieving with Jesus. I've been working with Intercultural Ministries and praying about where I go from here carrying on the missions Dave Ebert and I started as Improv Missionaries. It's been a whirlwind trying to get a grip on so much in such a short amount of time, but I've been able to hear the still small voice of the Lord in the midst of this storm.

These past couple of weeks, the Lord instructed me to simply preach the Gospel. Last week, His word to me was to take captive the fear of the unknown and that He has already equipped me to do that of which He has called me to do. For now, I will simply do this while I continue to work full-time. The Lord will build the platform and the mission.

I ask each of you to continue praying for me as I carry out God's calling on my life even in the midst of grieving. I also ask each of you to continue supporting me with monthly partnerships even during this time of transition. There will be further updates in the coming weeks and months. Please stay tuned for these future updates. Thanks!

This is not the end. God will still carry this great mission to completion. This field will still be harvested. The Hope of Jesus will still be shared. Hearts of stone will still be turned into hearts of clay. Testimonies of healing from trauma will still come forth and be shared. This is still just the beginning. In just the right time, the Lord will make it happen!

It was an awesome opportunity to speak at Chicago Child Evangelism Fellowship Christian Youth in Action. In a room full of young evangelists on fire for God and spreading the Gospel, Dave shared some improv and a message of encouragement for the innate value God has implanted within them. It was such a wonderful night!!!

Smiles and laughter abounding...freedom found...If you could see what we see...you would understand why I am so passionate....why we love this...why we're risking everything to make sure we can do this until they are all free.
It's why we are Improv Missionaries and why we are partnering with groups in Dallas and Tampa and Sarasota.
