Wow, what a day! Our ministry leaders and volunteers never cease to amaze us. After a long week—and prom last night—they still showed up and made us incredibly proud as a church family.
Following Sunday school and morning worship, our kids’ ministry hosted our annual Race Day and chili cook-off, and it was a rip-roaring good time!
Then at 5 p.m., we hosted the Central Baptist Association’s annual Youth Gathering for students from across central Oklahoma. Our team prepared walking tacos and made sure every detail was handled before, during, and after the event.
We truly can’t say “thank you” enough to express our appreciation. You are all such a blessing!

Zimbabwe Team, Monday evening update: God is good! By the time this update posts, the team should be sound asleep. Shortly after you go to bed, the team will be rising to do all the last-minute preparations for the conference and the VBS efforts. By the time you awake Tuesday morning, the conference will be nearly complete for the day. So pray now! Pray for the team to speak the truths of the gospel clearly and encourage our brothers and sisters there; include physical struggles to your list. Pray for the people of this area of Zimbabwe who are making their way to Mberengwa, some whose travel has been very difficult. Pray that the name of our Lord and Savior would be lifted up as firm foundations begin or continue because of HIS work there this week.
