Satan is a master fisherman — and he is not fishing for fish. He is fishing for you. He knows your weaknesses, he knows what gets your attention, and he knows exactly how to make the bait look good while keeping the hook completely out of sight.

This week's message from Matthew 4:1-11 takes us to the wilderness where Satan tempted Jesus three times — and every single time, Jesus responded with the Word of God. The same strategy that defeated the enemy then is available to us today.

The bait may look different for each of us, but the hook is always there. Satan will show you the pleasure but never the consequences. He will show you the excitement but never the cost. Do not let him fool you.

Whatever you are struggling with, there is forgiveness, restoration, and freedom at the cross. Jesus knew every time you would fail and went to Calvary anyway. Come to Him today.
