The Pharisees were grumbling and murmuring about Jesus for hanging out with sinners–outcasts and rejects like the tax-collectors. The religious leaders knew a lot of a lot of Scripture by heart, but Jesus wanted them to know the heart of God. So, He told them a parable about:

• A lost sheep that wandered away accidentally.
• A lost coin that had to be diligently searched for.
• A lost son who deliberately walked away.

In each story, Jesus revealed the heart of our heavenly Father who longs to rescue, restore, and rejoice over those He saves.

This amazing community event will be Covid-friendly by allowing attendees to enjoy the complete experience from the comfort and safety of their own vehicle. They will journey back in time as they drive through 5 outdoor scenes recreating Jesus' last days.

A Good Word from our friend Jentzen Franklin at Kingdom Connections - He said, If you’re checking email, scrolling social media, or browsing the day’s headlines before you even get out of bed, then you’re with the majority of our highly connected society. Connecting to so many different voices and opinions can make it hard to focus on the words the matter, or rather, The Word that matters most. And that’s God’s Word. You probably know how the media would classify your political opinions, or have an idea how your neighbors would categorize your religious beliefs. We wear a lot of labels. But do you know who God says you are? Do you know what His word says about YOU? When you can get hold of that, it will change everything!

Springs of Hope Church used to be called Good News Assembly of God. We still have GOOD NEWS but our new Brand better defines our mission. As we preach the Good News Gospel of Jesus the Christ, we refresh souls and allow the Living Water to flow like SPRINGS OF HOPE. Join us at our new Facebook site for current information.

Announcement ** Over the past year God has been dealing with my heart about our church becoming a place of hope for our community. Not only the hope of the gospel for eternity but for the hope the gospel can be in the here and now. That hope comes from the church being God’s hands and feet reaching out and meeting needs for the hurting and lost today. As God took me on this journey He laid on my heart the idea of renaming our church to reflect that mission. As I prayed about what that name should be I kept thinking about Wakulla Springs right down from the church. As we discussed this in a meeting with our board we collaborated, I believe , under the direction of the Holy Spirit and chose the name Springs of Hope Church. The church body agreed and we are in process of changing everything over to that name. As a result we are deactivating this page and inviting you to like and follow our new page Springs of Hope Church. We believe that God has great things in store for us. We would love to have you follow us there and see His plan unfold!
