Many in our church are praying for one of our members. Please continue to do so.

The situation is extremely grave. No relief of the pain has been given. Please pray that God's hand would work a miracle and the suffering would end. They are very discouraged that all the prayers lifted up have not brought any relief. Please pray for comfort and healing body and spirit.

Keep Pressing On

"Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you." Philippians 3:12-15

Karoly Takacs, a young Hungarian soldier who was regarded as one of the best pistol shooters in Europe was thought to have an excellent chance of winning a gold medal at the Olympics. But both the 1940 and 1944 Olympics were cancelled because of World War II. Even worse, during the war a defective gr***de exploded in his right hand—his shooting hand—and shattered it beyond repair.

Yet in 1948, Takacs made his way to London having trained himself to shoot with his left hand. One of his competitors asked why Takacs was there. He replied, “I’m here to learn.” Despite his handicap, Takacs won the gold medal, breaking the existing world record by ten points. After the medal ceremony, the second-place finisher said, “You’ve learned enough!” Takacs returned to the Olympics in 1952, winning the gold medal again at the Helsinki Games.

Though most of us have never suffered an injury as severe as the one Karoly Takacs experienced, all of us can find reasons to give up and quit. There are always excuses and obstacles. If we allow them to overshadow our purpose, we will become discouraged instead of continuing forward. Yet if we are faithful and persistent, we can see God do amazing things through our diligence. To press on, we must be willing to lay aside the past, both the successes and failures, and focus on Christ and what He has called us to accomplish.

We do not have to allow any difficulty or setback to keep us from moving forward towards God's goal for our lives.

Trials & Tribulations Bring Precious Promises
Speaker: Bro Bud Kirkpatrick
Sunday PM March 15th

The promise of perfection (completion)!
James 1:3-4 "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

The promise of a precious hope!
This "hope" meaning: a confident expectation of what is to come, a calm assurance (loveof God shed abroad in our hearts.)
Romans 5:3-5 "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

The promise of strength to forbear, or endure to the end!
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

The promises that better days are coming - joy!
Psalm 30:5 “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

The promise God will be ever near!
Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

The promise of the glorious hope of Heaven
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

The promise of provision!
Psalm 37:25 “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.”

The promise to be kept by the power of God, we can rejoice!
1 Peter 1:6-9 "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."
and,
James 5:11 “Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.”
(see also Job 42:10-12)

The promise of deliverance (with certainty!)
Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”
and, 1 Peter 4:12-13 "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy."

Exceeding joy awaits! And when we appear before Him, approved before God, the praises we offer Him now for His sustaining Grace will echo throughout all of eternity! Hallelujah!

Jude 24 "Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

DEALING WITH UNFORGIVENESS!
March 9, 2026
Sunday - AM
Matthew 18:21-35
Speaker: Pastor Joseph Pierini

Timeless Truth: This Parable uncovers 6-truths that help a believer deal with any unforgiveness in their heart!

The Case of Unforgiveness
The Cost of Unforgiveness
The Chains of Unforgiveness
The Consequences of Unforgiveness
The Confession of Unforgiveness
The Cure for Unforgiveness

SERMON SUMMARY:
The sermon centers on forgiveness, rooted in the parable of the unmerciful servant in Matthew 18, illustrating that true Christian life demands an endless forgiveness mirroring God's grace in Christ.

It emphasizes that unforgiveness is not merely a personal failing but a spiritual barrier that hinders prayer, damages relationships, and obstructs revival, as it contradicts the very nature of God's mercy.

Ultimately, the sermon calls believers to release the burdens of bitterness, pursue reconciliation, and embrace forgiveness as both a divine command and a pathway to spiritual freedom, revival, and restored fellowship with God and others.
