Each year as I look across Hope, I see the many flags and I feel humbled to be standing on sacred ground. The freedoms I enjoy each day were purchased by those who served this country. Some died in battle, Some died from battle. Each year as more are added, some are friends, neighbors, some people I've never met. But I am so blessed to be able to be a part of Honoring them.
Some one asked about us doing the service with the storm warnings. If all there was would have been me, the VFW, The American Legion, I still would have been there. As long as I breathe, I will honor their memories. May God Bless the families and the soldiers.
