Crane Lake Chapel

Summer Wednesday nights at the chapel, Starts this Wednesday.
We have a great group of six young people from all over the country. They are working summer jobs at Crane Lake vacation businesses.
 Come and enjoy singing with them some great Christian songs.
After the short service, they will be serving root beer floats in the fellowship hall.

They are sent to us by A Christian Ministry in a National Park. (ACMNP)

Special community breakfast prior to worship service this Sunday. (5-31). Our kitchen remodel is 90% done.
We just want to say thank you to so many from the community that donated to this project. It is greatly appreciated.
So come, let us feed you breakfast between 9 and 10 o’clock this Sunday in the fellowship hall and kitchen.
Worship service will be 1/2 hour later than usual at 10 o’clock.
If you can stay and worship with us, that’s wonderful, but at least we hope to see you for a community breakfast . All are welcome. Come as you are.

Just for fun today, Tuesday at 1 o’clock we are meeting with some of the members from Cooks First Baptist Church. We are meeting at 1 o’clock at Vermilion Falls.
After a bit of time there, we are driving back to Crane Lake Chapel to meet with them for snacks coffee and to share with them what’s going on here in Crane Lake at the Chapel . Everyone’s welcome.

Just a little update on the remodeling of the kitchen progress. (Pictures below)
New flooring is beautiful. Base cabinets are in. Plumbing,
Ceilings, Countertops next.
 A big thank you too all who have sent in special donations to help the chapel in these costs.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Last Summer, the Crane Lake Chapel celebrated its 75th anniversary of providing
spiritual and practical service to the Crane Lake and Buyck communities.
Over those 75 years, regular maintenance, upkeep, and improvements have been
made to the chapel. At this time, we are endeavoring to update our kitchen so it will
last another 40 years. We have always made our facility available for the community to
use whether they attend chapel services or not. As one of the few public facilities with
a kitchen, we felt that the community would appreciate an updated, more modern
facility.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of this exciting upgrade and to give you the
opportunity to be a part of it if you so choose. We are looking at a total cost of about
$51,000 for this project. We are also planning on doing a crawl space project to repair
some minor rot, remediate some mold growth, and encapsulate the entire crawl space.
This project will cost $36,600. We plan to have everything done by fishing opener!
If the chapel has meant something to you during your life, and you feel that God is
prompting you to give something financially, we would be happy with whatever you feel
led to do.
When the project is completed, we will have a “test run” in the form of a community
breakfast on May 31st at 9am. Our service that day will be at 10am if you wish to join
us. Come and help us and celebrate.
