He is Risen indeed! It was a beautiful, cool Easter morning in the dock at Rock Creek Mission. Sherill Clontz reminded us that God has ALWAYS gone before us and the worst thing is NEVER the last thing. Baker Baswell and Callie Sligh led our music then we shared breakfast on Easter bunny plates. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back on the lake Memorial Day weekend!

Join us for Easter Sunday! Our worship begins at 8:30 am and is followed by a potluck breakfast.
 
Car and boat parking are available.
 
We plan to be on the dock this year but if there is inclement weather we will move up to the pavillion.
 
Rock Creek Mission is adjacent to Rock Creek Marina on Lewis Smith Lake in Crane Hill, Alabama.

It's the last weekend of lake church season. Come hang out at the Saturday night dock party and join us for worship Sunday morning at 8:30.
We're next door to Rock Creek Marina. Car and boat parking is available.
Come as you are - there's no need to dress up. Stick around after the service for a pot luck breakfast!

First ever (maybe first annual) Rock Creek Mission end of summer dock party! Saturday, August 30, 7 pm.
Bring your favorite board game, cards, folding chair, instruments, singing voice, and a couple of friends and we’ll enjoy games, music, and fellowship.
We’ll be streaming live football games on the projector so you can keep up with the scores.

We’re ready for Easter up in the pavilion at 8:30 in the morning! There’s plenty of boat parking for those who have boats in the water. Car parking is available too. Bring a camp chair if you have one and plan to join in our potluck breakfast fellowship. Come as you are! We’ll have coffee ready for you!

Join us in an outdoor worship celebration of our Risen Savior, Easter Sunday morning at 8:30 am, up in the pavilion. The service will be followed by the traditional community potluck breakfast and joyful fellowship. Bring your favorite breakfast dish to share, we’ll provide coffee and paper products. We have seating but camp chairs might be helpful for overflow. Come as you are – dress anyway you wish – most will be in casual attire.

Rock Creek Mission is located on Lewis Smith Lake adjacent to Rock Creek Marina at 288 County Road 4010, Crane Hill, Alabama. Boat and car parking are both available.

If you’ve never visited Rock Creek Mission – we’d love to have you worship with us! We are a welcoming, fun, casual, multi-denominational gathering of Christians on Smith Lake. Our seasonal services are on Easter Sunday, then Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends, always on Sundays at 8:30 am. There are new faces passing through every time we get together and everyone always feels right at home. Through the summer most folks come in their regular shorts and t-shirt lake attire. Visiting pastors and musicians lead our services in the open air of our pavilion by a stone fireplace on Easter and on the iconic dock “God’s Floating Church” the rest of the season.
