Today is the Feast Day of the Martyrs of Uganda - 45 Anglican and Roman Catholic indigenous Christians martyred in Uganda, culminating on June 3, 1886 in Namugongo. Today, there are more Christians in Uganda than any other African country and its Anglican Church is one of the largest provinces of the Anglican Communion.
