In the olden days, kings and significant people rode donkeys. By riding one, Jesus told His supporters and people of Jerusalem that He was a king. It was a way of showing that He had divine authority.

The donkey also symbolizes peace. Unlike a horse which symbolize peace and is a sign of war, a donkey symbolizes peace and stands for meekness and peace. Jesus chose to ride a donkey to fulfill a prophecy in the Book of Zechariah: "Behold, your king is coming to you, humble and mounted on a donkey."

By this act, Jesus showed His followers that He was a king and emphasized that His rule would be peaceful and humble.

This deed by Jesus still has excellent worth today as it educates us to live an existence of simplicity, meekness, and peace.

Student tip: Knowing the symbolic meanings in scripture can assist us in learning valuable guidance from the Word of God.

I want to invite the youth to this!!! Will be a great opportunity for them to hear some amazing testimony of how if we just surrender to God.. he will pick up all the missing pieces and shape and mold us according to his plan and man is his plan so much better then we could ever imagine!

Reach up recovery cowen and craigsville will be coming together SATURDAY MARCH 16th 2024!!! At the craigsville church of the nazerene

For a very special testimonial and cowbell style service which im particularly excited for!

We will have guest preachers and speakers and of course singers!!!

Dinner will be served!

Come out and hear how good God can be to sinners like us 🥰

KEEP A WATCH OUT FOR ME TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH in craigsville and summersville and richwood all day long selling Valentine's day treat boxes

All the extra goodies I have will be sold and all the money I'm using for my youth ministry ❤️ (tee shirts, class room supplies, gos for outings, and food)

There will be a more variety and and price variety also (:

I will be at the parking lot beside Usave around 10am -12 I will be in Summerville around 3-4 at tractor supply and richwood around 5 at the community center!
