So, I've been using the International Children's Bible for my devotions and study, and it does not disappoint when it creates imagery from Scripture. The standout from this morning's devotional reading? The ICB rendering of Hosea 7:8b.

The true Spirit and miracle of Pentecost. ❤️🔥

This ties in to today's lesson with the ARKids today, which is on the 6th commandment: "Do Not Kill."
Pentecost, also known as Shavuot, traditionally celebrated the giving of the Ten Words on Mt. Sinai - including the words, "do not kill." And the heart of this commandment is about prioritizing, protecting, and preserving life. It is a prohibition against dehumanization and degradation of those who are "different."
