Our Missions President at Cowan Nazarene, Katie Modesitt, presented a wonderful missions program last night. She shared a story from Dr. Geneva Silvernail , a lesson on Armenia, and then some information about Alabaster. Alabaster offerings received in our churches go to help build churches, schools, hospitals and so many other things across the world on our mission fields and even in our own country. At the conclusion of the lesson, we all went to the annex and our group of adults and teens divided into 3 groups and built a church, school, and hospital out of Legos. We had so much fun!! These are now sitting on our Communion table in the sanctuary for everyone to enjoy until we take our Alabaster offering. Thanks for a great service, Katie!
