It was a sweet reminder of how God uses the bitter moments in our lives to write a beautiful story! The book of Ruth ends with Naomi, whose name means "bitter", being reminded that the Lord was not finished with her story! Our Redeemer, the Lord Jesus, would one day come through her lineage to redeem His people.

Here is the link (in the comments) for the sermon that Pastor Robert preached a few weeks ago on Passing the Baton from 1 Timothy 3:14-16. It was a fitting farewell message for our Sewanee grads who will be leaving us for another phase in their lives, one that we know God will use to bless others.

It was a bittersweet time at the Carl's, celebrating our seniors who are graduating this year from Sewanee University. We are missing Daphne who couldn't be with us but who is also graduating. These seniors have been such an integral part of Grace Fellowship, contributing their time and talents to Sports Camp, Sunday school and the Worship team. They have been such an asset to our little Grace community and we will miss them terribly as they go on to other things. We wish you all the very best and most of all that God would continue to guide and direct your steps! .m15
