We hope you'll join us TOMORROW for a special time of worship and ministry as Dr. Gustav du Toit brings his evangelistic ministry to Lakeshore Church! Dr. Gustav comes to us from Lofdal International, a church in South Africa. Service starts at 6:30 this week! (JBQ will also be starting at 6:30.) We hope to see you there!

We loved getting to spend yesterday celebrating all of the dads and father figures who enrich our lives in so many ways! We want to give a special public shoutout to all of the dads at Lakeshore Church—we see you, we appreciate you, and we hope you had an amazing Father’s Day!

A huge thank you to Beth, our fearlessly creative leader of Glitter & Grace, her servant-hearted husband Sean, and their incredible team for creating our Father’s Day backdrop and helping make the day extra memorable!

And that, ladies and gents, is a wrap for VBS 2026! Today's take-away was "The Holy Spirit Helps Me"...and let me tell you, the Holy Spirit helped us for sure this week 😆 Our volunteers are exhausted, but their cups are full.

One of our kids went home and told their mom, "Did you know Jesus died for me?"

Y'all. That's what it's all about.

Thank you to every child, parent, volunteer, prayer warrior, and community partner who made this week so special.

A volunteer appreciation post is coming soon, but for now, enjoy these special moments from today!

PS. Just a reminder--No Wednesday night services or JBQ tonight...most of our volunteers are most likely in bed by now. 😆

VBS Day 2...SUCCESS! The kids had a blast and were reminded that JESUS IS ALIVE!

If your child forgot something at church over the last two days, be sure to stop by the Lost & Found table next to Check-In! We’ve collected quite a few items and would love to get them back to their owners.

Day one of VBS was a BLAST!!! Our take-away today is JESUS IS THE WAY (John 8:12)!

Just a few reminders:
🍕 Please remember to send a lunch and reusable water bottle for your child each day!
🌊 Have your child come to VBS wearing their swimsuit under their clothes...and don't forget to pack dry underclothes for them to change into!

We have been overwhelmed by the excitement for VBS this year. At this time, all spots have been filled and we are unable to accommodate additional registrations. Thank you for understanding and helping us create a safe and well-prepared experience for every child.

Check-in tomorrow morning begins at 8:30...we can't wait for day 2!

We are SO excited for Day 1 of VBS 2026 tomorrow! 🎉☀️

We have been praying for every kiddo coming to Lakeshore’s VBS—that each child will feel God’s love, grow in their faith, and build a deeper relationship with Him. ❤️

A few reminders for tomorrow:
💦 Please send your kiddos in their swimsuits with a shirt and shorts over the top. (Girls please wear a 1 piece or a shirt overtop of your 2 piece)
☀️ We are praying for NO rain!
🍽️ Pack a towel, lunch, reusable water bottle and undergarments!
🚪 Doors will open at 8:30 AM.
💵 If you have not paid yet, please bring cash or a check.

We can’t wait to kick off a week full of faith, friendship, and FUN! See you tomorrow! 🙌
