Good morning FB family and friends. It's another Lord's Day and a beautiful day to be in worship. Hope you can be with us in person at Calvary Baptist Covington. Our worship time is 10:30 am. If you live in the area we invite you to vist our church and worship with us. We are still live streaming at 10;30 am on Covington's Calvary FB page. We only need 11 more followers on our new FB page to live stream on our new page. Our new page is Calvary Baptist Covington. Once we have 100 followers we will be using Calvary Baptist Covington as our new FB page.

Good glorious Sunday morning! It is good because God is good! It is glorious because God is a God of glory! Paul said, in Ephesians 3, "let there be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations!" Galatians 2:20 will be our sermon today. It is part two. We will also be observing the Lord's Supper, so if you have grape juice and a wafer, we can celebrate together. Just make sure that you are in right relationship with God and others. Good evenong FB family and friends. We will not be live streaming on Sunday the 16th. My family and I will be on vacation. We wil return on Sunday, August 23rd at 10:30 am. Stay tuned, I am planning on having a lesson while at the beach on Thursday the 20th. Hopefully around 11:00am. we will let you know. It will be on Covington's Calvary FB page.

I heard a song this morning on the way to church that I have not heard before.I don't know who wrote it, but the chorus goes like this:
He's the I of the storm
The center of my calm
The place where I find shelter
The place where I find warmth
The center of my ways
The keeper of my days
When I can't feel the sun shine
And my ship is tossed and torn
He's the I of the storm
Church, let's not forget this!!

What a blessing we experienced at our church yesterday as we had a celebration of life for Dr Leonard. Now in the presence of the Lord beholding the One he loved and longed to see. He was a champion of the faith, a warrior for Jesus, a lover of God, a winner of souls, and a mentor to me. He will be missed for now but will be seen again in heaven, if you know Jesus as your LORD and SAVIOR.
I hope you can join us in worship today in person or live at 10:30 am on Covington's Calvary FB page. I will be preaching the Gospel, Our Blessed Assurance. Pray that souls will be saved!
