We had another wonderful Wednesday Night Dinner Church last night. We missed you if you were not able to make it. We had some fantastic discussion around the topic of GRACE. A brief recap:

Every Christian, no matter how close they are to Jesus, still needs the grace of Jesus every single day. Grace is not just how we begin our walk with Christ; it is how we continue.

We need grace when we fall short, when our attitude is wrong, when our faith feels weak, and even when we think we are standing strong.

None of us outgrow our need for grace.

We all stand in need of the mercy, patience, forgiveness, and love of Jesus.

And the good news is this: His grace is still enough.

One of the greatest lies our culture tells us is that fitting in is the same thing as belonging.

So, we follow the crowd and measure success by the standards everyone else seems to use.

And yet many people have never felt more lost.

Paul's words in Romans 12:2 are a reminder that God never called us to blend in. He called us to be transformed.

Transformation isn't about changing your appearance. It's about changing your perspective.

When God changes the way you think, He changes the way you live. You begin to see people differently. You value different things.
You stop asking, "What is everyone else doing?" and start asking, "What is God calling me to do?"

The world doesn't need more people who simply echo the culture around them. It needs people who have the courage to live with conviction, grace, and purpose.

Today, don't be afraid to stand out for the right reasons. Some of the most important things God will do through your life will happen when you stop following the crowd and start following Christ.

Pentecost is not just the birthday of the church in a historical sense. Pentecost is the reminder that the church is born, sustained, corrected, renewed, and sent by the Holy Spirit.

Without the Spirit, the church becomes a club.
With the Spirit, the church becomes a movement.

Without the Spirit, service becomes an obligation.
With the Spirit, service becomes joy.

Without the Spirit, forgiveness feels impossible.
With the Spirit, reconciliation becomes a miracle.

Jesus breathes on them and says, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

Not “earn the Holy Spirit.”
Not “get your act together first.”

Receive.
That is grace.
The Spirit is a gift.

The question is not whether God is willing to give. The question is whether we are willing to receive.

Today we celebrate the incredible women who have loved, prayed, sacrificed, encouraged, and shaped our lives in countless ways. Whether you are a mother, grandmother, stepmother, foster mom, spiritual mother, or someone who has simply loved others like a mom… today we honor YOU.

Thank you for the bedtime prayers, the rides to practice, the packed lunches, the hugs when life hurt, the “I’m proud of you” moments, and even the texts reminding us to bring a jacket because “it might get cold later.” 😊

Proverbs 31:28 says:
“Her children arise and call her blessed.”

We are grateful for every woman who reflects the love, grace, strength, and compassion of Christ through her daily life.

Join us tomorrow evening at Covington Mill United Methodist Church for a special National Day of Prayer experience.

🕊️ Thursday | 5:00–7:00 PM

For two hours, our campus will become a place of peace, reflection, gratitude, and prayer. Whether you stay for a few minutes or the full evening, everyone is welcome to come and spend time in God’s presence.

✨ The Sanctuary will be open for:
• Quiet Prayer
• Personal Meditation
• Candle Lighting
• Reflection & Worship

In addition, three unique prayer spaces will be available throughout the church:

🙏 Thanksgiving Room
A place to thank God for His blessings, faithfulness, family, and answered prayers.

💙 Comfort & Healing Room
A sacred space to pray for those who are hurting, grieving, overwhelmed, or in need of healing and hope.

📖 Scripture Room
Spend time reading, reflecting, and praying through God’s Word with guided scriptures focused on peace, strength, and encouragement.

In a world filled with noise and uncertainty, this is an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God.

Take a moment to pray for our families, our community, our nation, and one another.
