The Northshore Baptist Association presents the Church Health Conference on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Ponchatoula, LA.

Whether you're a pastor, staff member, deacon, teacher, small group leader, or bivocational minister, this full-day gathering is designed to equip your entire leadership team with practical, biblically grounded tools across three core dimensions of church life:

- Discipleship Health – Mark Hallock (Calvary Family of Churches)
- Relational Health – Dr. Reggie Ogea (NOBTS / Jim Henry Leadership Institute)
- Organizational Health – Brandon Langley (St. Rose Community Church / Pillar Network)

We gather, pastors set the agenda, and we work through the things that are actually weighing on us. Practical. Honest. Unhurried.

Northshore pastors, you are invited to join us for the next Ministry Collaborative on April 28.

We will meet Tuesday morning, 8:30–10:30 at Celebration Church in Mandeville. There is no program. We bring real situations and questions and work through them together. I help moderate so the time stays focused and useful.

If it would help to have a couple of hours like that, I would be glad for you to come.

Ministry leadership can be a lonely road.

You carry burdens your congregation never sees. You make decisions no job description prepared you for. And most weeks, there’s no one in the room who fully understands the weight of it.

The Northshore Ministry Collaborative exists to change that. This Thursday, March 26, pastors will gather at Northshore Church in Slidell for a morning of honest conversation, shared wisdom, and genuine encouragement.

At our first Ministry Collaborative in February, a group of pastors sat down together and had the kind of conversation most of us rarely get to have.

They talked about the real challenge of moving a congregation toward genuine discipleship. They were honest about pastoral isolation and the mental health crisis many pastors face in silence. They shared discipleship strategies that are actually working in their churches right now.

Every pastor in the room left with something practical to take home.

The next gathering is Thursday, March 26 at Northshore Church in Slidell. 8:30–10:30 a.m. All pastors and ministry leaders are welcome.

This is a morning built for you: no curriculum — just honest, facilitated conversation among pastors about the things that matter most in your ministry right now. You help set the agenda. The direction belongs to those in the room.
