It is with heavy heats that we announce the passing of our sweet brother, Tom Anderson. Brother Tom was a faithful member of Shepherd's Care serving in many capacities over the years. His dedication, hard work and sweet smile will be missed greatly.

While we are saddened by his earthly passing, we rejoice knowing that Brother Tom has claimed his reward and is dancing on the streets of glory with his Jesus.

Please keep the Anderson family in prayer.

Services have not yet been finalized but, will be posted as soon as we have them.

Day 15: Walking with God Daily

Devotion

Relationship is not built in occasional moments—
it is built in consistent connection.

Joshua was told to meditate on God’s Word day and night. Not as a rule—but as a rhythm.

Because walking with God is not meant to be something we visit occasionally.
It’s meant to be something we live in daily.

God’s Word becomes powerful in your life when it becomes a regular part of your life.

Not rushed.
Not forced.
But consistent.

This is where everything begins to come together.

You’re not just reading Scripture—you’re:

* Hearing His voice
* Aligning your heart
* Strengthening your faith
* Walking with Him

And over time, it stops feeling like a discipline you have to maintain…

…and starts becoming a relationship you don’t want to live without.

Day 14: Becoming Like the One You’re With

Devotion

We become like what we consistently look at.

The more time you spend around someone, the more you begin to reflect them—their tone, their priorities, even their perspective.

The same is true in your relationship with God.

The more you stay in His Word, the more your life begins to reflect His character.

Scripture says we are transformed as we behold Him.

Not as we rush.
Not as we skim.
But as we remain.

This is not behavior modification—it’s relational transformation.

Over time:

* Your responses begin to change
* Your attitudes begin to shift
* Your priorities begin to align

Not because you’re trying harder…
but because you’re walking closer.

And the closer you walk with Him, the more your life begins to look like His.

Day 13: God Meets You in the Middle of It

There are moments when you don’t need more information…
you need comfort.

And this is one of the ways God’s Word meets us relationally.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted…”

That’s not just a statement—it’s a promise.

God’s Word doesn’t stay distant from your pain.
It steps right into it.

Scripture is not just where we learn about God—it’s where we experience His nearness.

When you’re hurting, overwhelmed, or worn down, the Word of God becomes more than truth—it becomes presence.

It reminds you:

* You are not alone
* God sees you
* God is near
* God cares

This is why time in Scripture matters so much.

Because in your hardest moments, it becomes a place where you don’t just find answers—you find Him.
