Hey Parents!

This Sunday is Kick Off Classic in our Kids Connect Groups! We are inviting all the kids (and parents) to wear their favorite team’s colors or jerseys to church.

Kids Connect Groups are a great way for your child to learn God’s Word and how to apply His Word in his life all while developing good friendships. We meet at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. in the kids building.

We hope to see your child this Sunday showing off their favorite team 🤩

"Be with Me" is this Sunday, August 16th in all our Connect Groups at both 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Spending time in Bible study with our friends is the best way to start a Sunday morning.

We are encouraging all our kids to invite a friend to church this Sunday. Like Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me," so let's do our part to invite kids to church this Sunday so we can tell them how much Jesus loves and cares for them. ❤️

BLAST is BACK for its 10th season! Wow! 🤩

Kindergarten - 6th grade kids will have a blast learning God’s Word and how to apply His Word in their lives while playing crazy games and making friendships that will last. Kids who wear the color red tomorrow night will earn their first Bible Buck!

Wake up! Wake up! It’s Promotion Sunday at First Baptist Church in Covington!

Kindergarten - 6th grade kids are invited to join us for Connect Groups at 9:30 or 11:00. Connect Groups are small group Bible studies that focus on JESUS! We hope to see you there 😊

Wow! What a summer! 🤩

We didn’t make one trip to Timber Creek for Centri-Kid camp but we made two trips this summer as we helped campers discover The Storyteller: The Author of All Things, Salvation, Truth, and Joy. We saw God’s Spirit move mightily in the lives of campers including two new believers in Christ!

We are thankful for our church’s prayers and support, our amazing camp counselors, and our continued partnership with Timber Creek and Centri-Kid.

We had an amazing time at Camp Thrive! This camp is specifically for our preteens who have completed 6th grade and it’s a great way to end their time in the Kids Ministry.

This year’s theme was “Unashamed” based on Romans 1:16. Campers enjoyed worship, Bible study, Girl Talk & Guy Talk, home cooked meals, making crafts, OMC on the beach, fireworks, and lots of time on the lake.

We are thankful to our amazing counselors and worship team as well as our wonderful partners in ministry, Deanna & Jason Hunt and the Hunt Branch Lakes Christian Retreat Center.

Also, a special shoutout to our son, Harrison Fredericks, for capturing photos and videos of camp!

Hey Parents - Just roll your child out of bed and bring them to a Kids Connect Group in their pajamas for Poptarts and Bible study at either 9:30 or 11:00.
