Day 2: Our Healing God
Reading: Exodus 15:22-26

Devotional: "I am the LORD who heals you"—Jehovah Rapha. This isn't just a name; it's a revelation of God's nature. From the Old Testament provision for cleansed l***rs to Jesus touching the untouchable, Scripture overflows with evidence of our healing God. The stripes on Jesus' back were deep enough to reach your spirit, soul, and body. His wounds purchased your spiritual healing first—being born again—but they also extend to your mind and physical body. The same God who healed l***rs, restored sight to the blind, and raised the dead still works today. He hasn't changed. As you read God's declaration in Exodus, personalize it: "I am YOUR healer." Believe that the One who spoke healing over Israel desires wholeness for you too.

Day 1: The Courage to Press On
Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Devotional: Paul's thorn in the flesh reminds us that God's answer isn't always immediate healing, but always sufficient grace. When God says, "My grace is sufficient for you," He's not dismissing our pain—He's promising His presence within it. Sometimes the encouragement we need isn't deliverance from the trial, but courage to continue through it. The Holy Spirit has placed divine courage within you. When discouragement whispers that you should quit, remember: dis-courage simply means the removal of courage. But what God has placed in you cannot be stolen. Today, whatever cup you're facing, pray not only for its removal but for the strength to say, "Not my will, but Yours be done." His power is perfected in your weakness.

Your King sees you. He hears every cry. He sympathizes with your weakness because He suffered in every way, just like you.

"By His wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5. This isn't just about spiritual salvation—though that's the most important healing. Jesus heals minds, transforms emotions, and restores bodies. From l***rs showing themselves to priests, to Peter's mother-in-law rising to serve, to blind Bartimaeus shouting louder when told to be quiet—our God is in the healing business.

Maybe you're carrying someone else's need to Jesus. Maybe you're in a desperate moment. Maybe someone you love needs to see God's power displayed so they can believe. Bring it to Him. Your prayers don't need to be eloquent to be effective—they simply need to be honest and faith-filled. Even your groaning reaches His ears.

Don't give up the courage the Holy Spirit placed in you. Be encouraged. Jesus is still able.

Day 5: The Compassion That Saves
Reading: Luke 15:11-24; 1 John 4:9-10

Devotional: In the parable of the unmerciful servant, the king was "moved with compassion" and forgave an impossible debt. This is the Father's heart toward you. In Gethsemane, Jesus was "overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death," yet His compassion for lost humanity drove Him to the cross. He endured what you deserved so you could have eternal life. This wasn't passive pity but active, sacrificial love. If you've wondered whether God could forgive you, hear this: His compassion aches to save you completely. The cross proves it. For those already saved, let this same compassion stir within you for the lost. Be moved to prayer, to action, to speak life. God is patient, not willing that any should perish. Partner with Him in this compassionate work of redemption today.

Day 4: Provision Flows from His Compassionate Heart
Reading: Matthew 15:32-39; Philippians 4:19

Devotional: After three days of ministry, Jesus noticed the people were hungry. Having healed their bodies and fed their souls, He now felt compelled to meet their physical needs. "I have compassion on the multitude," He declared. This reveals a crucial truth: God cares about your everyday needs—food, shelter, provision. His eye is on the sparrow, and you are worth far more. When you seek first His kingdom, He promises to add all these things. He won't reward irresponsibility, but for those genuinely in need, He provides. Often, He works through His people. When it's in your power to help someone, do it—you might be God's provision for them. Today, thank God for His faithful provision in your life, then ask Him to show you someone whose need you can meet.

Day 3: The Healing Touch of Compassion
Reading: Mark 1:40-42; Matthew 14:14

Devotional: The l***r approached Jesus with a profound question: "If You are willing, You can make me clean." Jesus' response reveals His heart: "I am willing." Moved with compassion, He touched the untouchable. Whether healing multitudes or one isolated individual, Jesus was compelled by love to intervene. He sees both the masses and you personally. Your pain matters to Him. He isn't too busy, distracted, or indifferent. His compassion flows toward your specific need. While we cannot guarantee every healing outcome this side of eternity, we can promise He is both able and good. Like David prayed, "Perhaps the Lord will be gracious"—bring your need to Him. Press through the crowd like the woman with the issue of blood. His compassion is waiting to overflow into your situation.
