FBC Covington Women's Ministry Our desire is that God will use this ministry to strengthen our women so they exemplify Christ at home, work, and church.

The Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Church Covington exists to serve Jesus Christ by equipping the women of our church and community through Bible Study, Prayer, Discipleship, Evangelism, Missions, and Fellowship so each woman may grow and mature in her personal walk with Jesus Christ. Our Vision is:
• To teach women to know God through His Word (Hebrews 6:1)
• To teach women to depend upon Chri

st through prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)
• To equip women to reach beyond the walls of the church and into their communities so that others might come to know Christ (Matthew 28:19-20)
• To bring women into the fellowship of the church that they might grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:12)
• To minister to women where they are in life (1 Peter 5:2)
• To encourage and equip women to be Godly wives and mothers (Titus 2:3-5)

As a wife, mother of two daughters, and grandmother of three grandchildren, I know it takes the work of Christ and the fellowship and encouragement of His followers to keep me focused each day to be all that God intends for me to be. As we continue to evaluate needs in our area, we are updating the list of specific donation items that we are requesting from our church family. If you have any of these items, please drop them off at the church during the times listed below. All of these items can be bought individually or in bulk.

You may drop off these items during the following times at the Church Office during the next two weeks. If you are bringing generators or gas cans that contain gas or oil, please leave them outside the building and let a church staff member know where they have been placed.

-Monday - Thursday: 8:30AM - 4:00PM
-Fridays: 8:30AM - 12 Noon
-Saturdays: 5:00PM - 7:00PM (any entrance)
-Sundays: 8:30AM - 12 Noon (any entrance)

Mandisa is coming to First Baptist Church Covington!
GRAMMY® winner Mandisa is inviting
her longtime friends Blanca, Jasmine Murray and Candace Payne (author, “Chewbacca Mom”) for "Girls Night Live," an extraordinary evening aimed at strengthening female community. Envisioned to be a night of women encouraging women about matters that affect women, “Girls Night Live Tour” will include music, humor, worship and prayer. Noted for her vulnerability, the night will end with Mandisa and her friends joining the audience for a personal, encouraging "Girl Chat" and time of ministry. Mandisa’s desire is that each night will be different than the night before. With the added element of "Girl Chat," the audience will have the opportunity to shape the conversation. “My friends and I hope to create a safe atmosphere where the ladies will feel comfortable getting real, and discussing the topics that affect us as women, and the timely challenges we face," said Mandisa.

The 16 city run will visit churches, arenas and theaters throughout Sept. and Oct. in Texas, New York, Missouri, Florida and more. Food for the Hungry is sponsoring the community-filled evening and will give women the opportunity to help other women around the world. Providing life-changing resources such as clean water, medical aid, food, equal educational opportunities to girls and boys, vocational training and empowerment in the midst of unimaginable hardships, Food For The Hungry has been fighting poverty through purposeful relief and development for over four decades.
