My personal prospective as a local pastor and Christian!
We must stand in unity, through prayer and love for our entire community!
When you see and hear of increased deadly activity it should cause us all to stop what we are doing individually and come together to fight against principalities and powers of darkness in high places!
Pastors, preachers, ministers and Christians - let us sound an alarm and give notice to Satan. Not here, not our people and not our community! Our hearts should be breaking and souls burdened over the funerals yesterday, days, weeks and months ago! Not to mention the additional tragedy yesterday while other families were burying love ones.
How much longer are we going to allow law enforcement and first responders to carry these burdens alone?
This is spiritual warfare…. I don’t know about you, for me - I am tired of drugs, alcohol, anger, bitterness, mental illness and hate that causes others to destroy our families, friends and law enforcement!
We must look past the people to see what is really going on…. Satan has launched an attack on the Alleghany Highlands! He will use anything and anyone to kill, steal and destroy.
We will be planning another unity prayer soon, brothers and sisters let us tear down walls that have divided us and come together as one seeking the power of God and wisdom to win our community for Jesus! Let us pray for those who place their lives in danger everyday.
Because I have suffered numerous tragedies in my personal life I can relate to these precious families that have lost loved ones over the past year.
Count them, it has been increasing- it has got to stop! Are you willing to come together to pray for the families, children, seniors and first responders?
Evil has targeted and launched a war on us all! However, “Greater is He that is in us, than He that is in the world”
Christians it is our obligation to fight, to stand, to pray, to love and to call upon Heaven to protect our community.
We cannot just ask law enforcement to give their lives if we can’t give time on our knees fighting with and for them!
I would rather hear of testimonials of those who were going to take their lives or someone else’s but instead something stopped them. I would love to hear how Jesus broke down walls and barriers of race, denominations, social and economical circles that have plagued our community for years.
I would love to see people who suffer mental illnesses and addiction begin to walk in freedom and restoration! I would love to see churches come out of our buildings to the “highways and byways”
I would love to witness healings, salvation, deliverance and genuine, authentic love and respect for authority and the people- all people, of our community!
This is our mission field, these are our neighbors, friends, family…..can we do no less?
Who would take time to come out and join us in public community prayer on April 2 ? Parking lot @610 Alleghany Ave., Covington
