“Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing…”

Today marks a special day in the life of Wesley Methodist Church of Covington as we place the order for our steeple. What was once a dream, then a prayer, and now a reality, stands as a testimony to God’s faithfulness through every step of this journey.

As the hymn reminds us: “Here I raise mine Ebenezer; hither by Thy help I’ve come.”

This steeple will point heavenward, but more importantly, it will stand as a reminder of the countless prayers, faithful hearts, and God’s provision that have brought us to this moment.

Thank you, church family and friends, for your faith, generosity, and unwavering support. We can’t wait to see what God continues to do in the days ahead.

To God be the glory!

Today, as we celebrate Pentecost in the life of the Church, may we remember that the same Holy Spirit who empowered the ordinary people of the early Church is still alive and at work among us today.

Today is also Aldersgate Day, a reminder that hearts are still being strangely warmed by the grace and presence of God.

May the Holy Spirit continue to move in our hearts, renewing us with passion, courage, and compassion to share the hope of Christ as we seek to reach every nation, tribe, and people group.
