Have you ever seen a child who can’t see what’s ahead, reach up and ask to be put on their someone’s shoulders?

The situation around them didn’t technically change, but their view did.

Sometimes we’re carrying so much that all we can see is the weight in front of us: Fear, Worry, Hurt, Uncertainty, Chaos

Let me remind you, God has big shoulders.

Give Him what you’ve been carrying and allow Him to lift you above it. Sometimes God doesn’t change the situation right away, He changes our perspective so we can see it differently.

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee…” Psalm 55:22

Your burden isn’t too heavy for His shoulders, and neither are you when you need your perspective to change.

Sometimes we don’t understand why God allows us to walk through difficult seasons.

We don’t understand the waiting.
We don’t understand the loss.
We don’t understand the disappointment.
And sometimes, we simply don’t understand why it had to be this hard.

But just because we don’t understand the season doesn’t mean God isn’t working in it.

There are things God will teach us in the valley that we could have never learned on the mountaintop. There are prayers we learn to pray, strength we discover, and a dependence on Him that often only comes when life doesn’t go according to our plans.

You may not understand the why right now, but you can still trust the Who.

God sees what you cannot see. He knows what you do not know. And most importantly, He is with you through every moment of it.

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee…” Isaiah 43:2

The season may be difficult, but you’re not walking through it alone.

Everything was absolutely wonderful, and our ladies enjoyed every bite! We are so thankful for local businesses like Lavender Coffee who help make our special events even sweeter.

Lavender Coffee is at the Madisonville Farmers Market on the 26th (the Old Ballpark) from 10:00–2:00 with:
