Today, we pause to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is not simply a long weekend or the start of summer, it is a sacred time of remembrance for the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our nation. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms many of us enjoy every single day.

As a church, we honor those heroes and the families who carry their memory in their hearts.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 (KJV)

May we never forget the cost of freedom, and may we always remain thankful to God for the courage, service, and sacrifice of our fallen heroes.

From all of us at River of Life Church, we pray for peace, comfort, and God’s blessings upon our nation this Memorial Day.

Good Morning & Happy Pentecost Sunday!
“What is Pentecost Sunday?” you ask…
Pentecost Sunday is the day we celebrate when the Holy Ghost was poured out in the upper room just as Jesus promised! It marks the birth of the Church and the moment ordinary people were filled with the power of God to change the world.

Acts 2 says: “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost…”
There came a sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind, tongues of fire sat upon them, and lives were forever changed. Fear turned into boldness. Weakness turned into power. Religion turned into relationship.

And the same Spirit is still moving TODAY!
We’re believing for fresh fire, fresh oil, salvation, healing, deliverance, and an outpouring of the Holy Ghost in our service today.

If Noah could build an ark in the rain… you can definitely make it to church!

Don’t let a little weather keep you from a BIG move of God. The enemy loves excuses, but we believe God still shows up in storms and through storms!

So grab your umbrella, your family, and come worship with us tomorrow! There’s a seat waiting just for YOU.

“Let us not give up meeting together… but encourage one another.” Hebrews 10:25

Rain may be falling outside, but the fire of God will be falling inside!

🌊 SAILING INTO THE WEEKEND 🌊
As we sail into this weekend, may we remember who is in the boat with us. The winds may rise, the waves may roar, but Jesus is still the Master of the sea.
No matter what this week held… joy, struggle, victory, or uncertainty… God has carried you this far and He’s not letting go now.
“Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.” Psalm 107:28-29

In a world full of noise, distractions, opinions, and chaos… may we learn to quiet our hearts and truly listen for the voice of God.

The beautiful thing about being His child is this: He still speaks. Through His Word. Through prayer. Through conviction. Through peace. Through the Holy Spirit.

Today, don’t just rush through life, pause and listen.

‘My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.’ John 10:27

Lord, help us to recognize Your voice above every other voice in our lives

What a powerful Sunday at River of Life Church!

From two phenomenal, Holy Ghost filled messages to celebrating lives changed through baptism, God moved in such a special way yesterday. The presence of the Lord was undeniable, and we are so thankful for every person who worshipped with us!

As we step into this new week, we pray you’re cruising into your Monday filled with the joy, peace, and strength of the Lord.
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10

A recap of what people had to say about their moms yesterday.

From “She prays for me” to “She loves me with all her heart,” the room was filled with love, honor, and gratitude for the mothers and mother figures who have impacted our lives.

What a special day it was in the House of the Lord as we celebrated the women who pray, sacrifice, encourage, and lead their families with love.

We are thankful for every mother represented at River of Life Church. And pray everyone had a very Happy Mother’s Day!
