One of the joys I get to be a part of is the Synod Candidacy Committee. We've met with some amazing candidates for ministry as either Ministers of Word and Service (Deacons) or Ministers of Word and Sacrament (Pastors). The ages, experiences, and cultures as well as calls to ministry of the candidates are so incredibly diverse! What a gift they are to the church! Pastor Cassandra Nagle, Bishop's Associate for Community and Call Process, talks with candidates who are either entering internship or have just been approved for ordination.

The church has a bright future!
