Society of St. Teresa of Jesus (Teresian Sisters)

Society of St. Teresa of Jesus (Teresian Sisters) The Society of St. Teresa of Jesus is an international community of consecrated religious women. We were founded in 1876 in Spain by St. Like St.

Henry de Ossó to
promote the interests of Jesus and restore all things in Christ through prayer, education and sacrifice. Teresa of Jesus, we are women who are passionately in
love with God. In response to God’s immense love, we offer our
lives through our vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. Henry, we strive to give ourselves unconditionally
to Jesus so that everything about us may proclaim:“

I belong to Jesus.”
We live out our mission as a community of disciples who strive to make Jesus known and loved by all people.

"To think like Jesus Christ, to feel like Jesus Christ, to love like Jesus Christ, to act like Jesus Christ, to live like Jesus Christ, to speak like Jesus Christ—to shape, in a word, our whole life after His, to be clothed in Jesus Christ: this is the one true task and the essential calling of every Christian", St. Henry de Osso

✅388 secondary school students at Enrique de Ossó School in Reparto Schick, Managua, Nicaragua, now benefit from better-equipped classrooms.

💙🤍🤎 Thanks to the support of the FundEO-Fundación Enrique de Ossó, four 10th- and 11th-grade classes have received complete new furniture for their learning environments. 🪑🗄️👩‍🏫

In addition, seven classrooms for 7th, 8th, and 9th grades have upgraded teachers’ desks and acrylic whiteboards, and for the first time, they now have cabinets for educational materials.

We are pleased to share a short video in which student representatives express their gratitude and commitment to maintaining the furniture, while acknowledging the value of the support received and the positive impact of these improved conditions on their educational development.

Teresa experienced and conversed with each Person of the Holy Trinity in a distinct way: she felt the Son (Jesus)❤️‍🔥 as her friend, teacher, and spouse; the Father as Creator and refuge 🪨; and the Holy Spirit as the source of love and wisdom 🕊️.

Today in Nicaragua 🇳🇮 we celebrate 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲. We honor those women who are a source of inspiration, who care with all their being, and above all, who educate for life. Their love is a reflection of God’s heart and a hope that is renewed each day in the family and in society.
