We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Pastor Adam P Crews Sr. and the Pastors of NKBPC, Pastor Michael Jackson, Pastor Fred Mac, Pastor Richard B. L. Fowler and Pastor Jermaine Burgess for sponsoring this year’s VBS. Your leadership, support, and love for our children and community made this week possible, and we are truly blessed by your dedication.

To every single volunteer those who taught lessons, led arts and crafts, ran outdoor activities, prepared meals, and served food night after night, THANK YOU. Nothing you did went unnoticed or unappreciated. Your time, energy, and joyful spirits helped create a week full of learning, laughter, and the love of Christ.

A very special shout-out to Bro. Cordell Brown and Sis. Lois Brown for donating all the pizza for Friday night’s VBS celebration. Your generosity fed both stomachs and smiles.

And an EXTRA special shout‑out to Sis. Cece Crews for coordinating and organizing this year’s VBS. Thank you for using your God‑given gifts, talents, and purpose to make a lasting impact on God’s kingdom. Your leadership brought everything together with excellence, grace, and love.

This week reminded us what happens when a church families comes together with purpose: children grow, faith strengthens, and community shines. We are grateful for every prayer, every helping hand, and every act of kindness that made VBS unforgettable.

The seeds planted this week will continue to grow and God gets all the glory!

What an incredible way to close out NKBPC’s VBS!
Tonight’s lesson from the parable of the Good Samaritan reminded us that loving our neighbor goes beyond any barrier, real compassion means doing something not just feeling sorry and sometimes helping others requires us to give our time, our resources, and our comfort. That’s the kind of love Jesus calls us to show. ❤️

After the lesson, we all gathered for an amazing treat. It was a joy to witness world‑record Guinness juggler David Cain, who blessed us by sharing both the Gospel and his God‑given talent in such a unique and powerful way. What a gift to our church family!

God truly showed out this week. We thank Him for the provision for the vision, for orchestrating every detail, and for placing the right people in the right place at the right time. 🙌🏾

VBS reminded us that we don’t need much to make a real impact in our community. All God is looking for is a Yes from us. And when we say yes, He does the rest.

Thank you to everyone who served, attended, prayed, and supported. NKBPC’s VBS was a blessing from start to finish, and we give God all the glory!

Our VBS kids had an amazing time yesterday playing the Rolled the Stone Away game! As they worked together to move the “stone,” they learned a powerful truth from our Day 2 lesson Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice!

Just like the stone was rolled away on Resurrection morning, our kids discovered that nothing could stop Jesus from completing His mission of love. His sacrifice opened the way for us to have new life, hope, and freedom. Watching them laugh, strategize, and work as a team was a beautiful reminder of the victory we have because Jesus is alive.

Can’t wait to see what God teaches them today!
