This Thursday BCYM will be going to see "God's Not Dead at the Devan Theater in Attica Indiana. The movie starts at 7 pm. Tickets are $6. Youth will meet at Kathy Maertens at 6 PM and any adults who wish to go are welcome :)

Only three more days till the Care Bear Christmas gathering. I saw a lot of teddy bears at Benson Chapel on Sunday morning and I have heard our friends at Covington UMC had several too and I sold some at Dollar General to the Kingmon Church.....I am so excited to spread a little Christmas cheer to the residents at the Waters!

Youth Remember Movie and Pizza at Benson Chapel tomorrow night 6:30 -10. We will be watching Red Dog. Wear modest pajamas if you'd like. I'll try to post a preview of the movie. See you all there :)

In life we often try so hard to gain acceptance of our peers. We may alter our looks, language, and even our personalities to try to gain the approval of others. The fear that people may not accept us as we are is very common. In fact, most people have probably faced it at some point. Just know that God knows everything about you even the parts you hide from others. He created you, named you, and he know your every thought (good or bad). He knows all this and he loves YOU exactly as you are flaws and all. You do not have to win his acceptance because he already thinks your worth dying for. Remember this the next time you feel desperate to fit in with your peers.

Come worship with special guest, local band Focus....Service is at 9:30 but band will be playing starting at 9:15. Have a great Sunday Everyone!

For those of you don't know we have been studying the book of John. The gospel of John is a great place to start if you are a new Christian or just want to get to know Jesus on a deeper level. We have been breaking it up in small segments and then asking ourselves how Jesus' words and miracles apply to our lives. I am amazed at some of the things these kids come up with.
