Sunday, June 14, promises to be a great day at St. John Lutheran! Join us for church as our Senior Worship Choir sings “What A Friend” and “Go Now In Peace” for the final time this season. The service begins at 9:00 A.M. followed by refreshments and the quarterly Voter’s Meeting at 10:15, which will happen in place of Adult Bible Study and Sunday School. We need all our St. John members in attendance as we vote on the new Board of Directors officers and approve next year’s budget. Please plan to be at this important meeting!

We’re just two weeks away from VBS at St. John! While we are getting ready for an exciting winter sports event at “Snowball Mountain”, we need everyone to sign up their kids TODAY! Our Board of Directors meets this evening, Tuesday, June 9, at 6:00. As a reminder, all St. John members are asked to attend the quarterly Voter’s Meeting this Sunday, June 14, to vote on Board officers and approve the new budget.

Worship with us tomorrow, Sunday, June 7, at St. John Lutheran! Come early for our bi-monthly Prayer Meeting at 8:30 A.M. in the Church Office, followed by the church service in the sanctuary at 9:00. But don’t leave yet - head over to the Gym for refreshments, Adult Bible Study, and Sunday School for all Preschool through high school-aged students. We’d love to fellowship with you in person, but if you’re unable to make it, you can watch the service and Bible Study on the St. John YouTube channel or on the church’s website, both of which are linked in the bio. Be sure to save the date for the upcoming Voter’s Meeting on Sunday, June 14, at 10:15 A.M. in the Gym. There will be no Adult Bible Study or Children’s Sunday School, as we vote on new officers for our Board of Directors and approve next year’s budget. We would love to see ALL the St. John members in attendance on the 14th!

As we head into the summer months, many of us will enjoy upcoming trips and vacations, so we would like to extend a travel prayer for all our congregants, our LWML group attending the district convention this weekend, and Pastor Wood spending two weeks in St. Louis for his post-graduate program. You can pray for these and many others at the bi-monthly St. John Prayer Meetings, taking place at 8:30 A.M. before worship on the first and third Sundays of each month.
