We’ve got a great week coming up at St. John! Women’s Book Club and LWML return on Tuesday, September 15, and all the ladies of St. John are welcome to attend and bring a friend. And you definitely don’t want to miss church this Sunday! Not only is the Handbell Choir playing “The Ash Grove”, their first piece of the season, but the Federwitz family will share during Bible Study about their ongoing work with Lutheran Bible Translators, and the Kids Kingdom Choir resumes during Sunday School for all the Preschool-5th graders. Sounds like we’ve got an awesome week ahead, St. John!

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! It’s Rally Sunday at St. John! The fun begins for kids and their families with worship in the Sanctuary at 9:00 A.M. Then, enjoy fellowship and refreshments before Adult Bible Study resumes in the Church and all Preschool through High School aged kids meet for an extra special Sunday School. With the focus on Philippians 4:13, the students will see how they can do all things through Christ as they play games, complete obstacle courses, engage in experiments, and learn about the enduring love of God. After that, everyone is invited back to the Gym for a tasty potluck and entertaining talent show featuring some of St. John’s very own members. Don’t miss out this Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Come kick off the new school year THIS Sunday, September 13, starting with worship at 9:00 A.M., followed by Sunday School for kids in Preschool through High School. There will be a Bible story, along with games, experiments, prizes, and so much more! Then, stick around for a church-wide potluck at 11:30 where some of our members will put their talents on full display as entertainment. Looking forward to a fun-filled day at St. John!

Guess what? YOU’RE invited to St. John this Sunday, September 6! Come early for the first Prayer Meeting of the month at 8:30 A.M. in the Church Office. Then, head over to the sanctuary for worship and communion at 9:00. Directly following the service, join us in the Gym for refreshments and fellowship before Adult Bible Study and Sunday School begin at 10:15. If you can’t attend in person, tune in through the St. John YouTube channel or on the church’s website to livestream the service and watch Pastor Wood’s Bible Study.
