I’m happy to share with youa special event coming up. Here is the information… 

Forest Lawn Museum is excited to announce, “Filipino California: Art and the Filipino Diaspora,” which includes the work of seven contemporary artists: Eliseo Art Silva, Allison Hueman, Anthony Francisco, Maryrose Cobarrubias Mendoza, Christine Morla, Maria Villote, and Junn Roca.

The exhibition features paintings, drawings, installations, and sculptures that explore a range of perspectives on Filipino culture in America.

Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, April 20 from 5-7 PM at Forest Lawn Museum. The event will include complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres, live music, and remarks from the curator.

Forest Lawn Museum is located at 1712 S. Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205.

Enter the main gate and proceed up the hill. Follow signs to the museum, which is located at the top of the hill. Admission and parking are free. “Filipino California: Art and the Filipino Diaspora” is on view from April 20-September 8, 2024.
