Join the LGBTQ+ Ministry Team this evening, Thursday, June 18, at 7:00 p.m. (via Zoom) for our ongoing Pride Month Bible Study.

Each week we gather for Scripture, reflection, conversation, and community using A Q***r Lectionary, a resource offering inclusive readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. This is a welcoming space for honest engagement, thoughtful listening, and shared faith.

🇺🇸 Save the Date: America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration at Brookland Retreat Center 🇺🇸

Join us at Brookland Retreat Center on Saturday, July 4, 2026 (9:00 AM – 8:00 PM) as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with a full day of prayer, community, history, food, and fellowship.

This special “America 250” gathering will be a meaningful way to mark this historic milestone together in a spirit of gratitude and reflection.

Highlights of the day include:

- Open house, tours, coffee & refreshments (morning)
- Reading of the Declaration of Independence & chapel bell ringing
- Afternoon chapel tours, snacks, and fellowship
- Evening Prayer using the 1789 Book of Common Prayer
- Community supper with hot dogs, baked beans, and homemade ice cream
- S’mores around the fire pit (weather permitting)

✨ This is a free event and open to all. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors as we celebrate faith, freedom, and the story of our nation.

✨💛 Celebrating Juneteenth Across the Diocese 💛✨

Juneteenth is a powerful day of remembrance, freedom, and reflection, commemorating June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas were finally informed of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Across the Diocese of the Susquehanna and our Northern Tier Convocation, we give thanks for the ways our communities are marking this important day through prayer, education, worship, and acts of justice. As we reflect together, we are invited to remember both the painful history of slavery and the ongoing work of healing, reconciliation, and the pursuit of true freedom for all people.

May this Juneteenth deepen our commitment to becoming a beloved community rooted in justice, dignity, and love.

A new three-session, video-based course about baptism, Eucharist, and the church’s sacramental rites is available for download or streaming with accompanying study guides. “Signs and Grace: An Introduction to the Sacraments” marks the first video collaboration between The Episcopal Church and Forward Movement in a partnership designed to provide free formation resources for dioceses and congregations.

The course—which includes 45- or 60-minute options, with facilitator and participant guides—is ideal for newcomer classes, adult forums, Sunday school, small groups, and those preparing for confirmation. The three 20-minute-long videos are in English with Spanish subtitles, as well as the study guides.
