Our spotlight is on: Mary Ann Lundy
Mary Ann Lundy has one son, Eddie Watkins (Connie) and one daughter, Michelle Watkins, She has four grandchildren: Wesley, Hannah (Austin), Peyton and Kerry.
During their wonderful fourteen (14) years together, both Mary Ann and her late husband, Harold, enjoyed gospel music and would often sing in churches, as well as, in the Calvary choir.
Mary Ann retired from working thirty-five (35) years at K-Mart when they closed their Dothan store. Before that, from her early teens, she worked at Pauline’s Cafe in Cottonwood. It was there that she learned to not only cook, but greet everyone with a warm and friendly smile.
Mary Ann Lundy is not only a charter member of Calvary, but a faithful servant to her Lord. She is the secretary of our church, working each week to prepare a beautiful bulletin for everyone. She also sings in the choir and is always willing to do anything needed at the church.
